Check in was inconvenient when you have luggage. Beds were okay. Could have a few supplies left in the apartment- even salt and pepper would be great.
It was clean and comfortable
The accomodation was clean and fresh looking, but the mattresses were very old, torn and stained as well as hard and uncomfortable.
We got very little sleep because of this.
Itâs a shame they got the most important aspect so wrong.
I wonât be leaving a positive review as I wasnât very pleased with the accommodation.
I also notice it says the property has been removed at the hosts requests so leaving a review isnât even possible!!
In the even you are interested in what was wrong, I will outline the info below.
When I went to the Night Owl to collect the key the attendant didnât check my ID. I told him I was there to collect a key for apartment 1007 and no checks were made - I was handed the key. Not very safe & secure!!
Then when I got to the apartment lifts the key would not allow me to the apartment.
I called the ph number provided by you and was told to go to hotel reception and ask them to recode the key. Inconvenient when I had my case and belongings to manage !!
Upon entering the apartment - there was an overwhelming smell of cooking fats suggesting the range hood filters needed cleaning
Only one window would open.
The dishwasher did not work and the door would not stay closed
The tv was not tuned in to any tv stations and no Netflix available.
I text the number that you say to contact if anything wrong to ask for help with the tv on the Friday evening and NOONE replied!!
The wifi was a waste of time with such slow speeds that we used our own data plans.
There was no sharp knives to prepare food or cutting boards
Plates in the cupboard were chipped
Glasses in the cupboard were dirty
Kettle was dirty
Bed in one room had no legs and was laying directly on the floor
Bed in the other room had a queen size base and a double sized mattress on it ??!!
Both beds didnât have a flat sheet - only a fitted and the quilt with no cover which is unhygienic when this is a shared accommodation!
The cushions on the couch stunk like greasy hair/scalp!
Carpet was dirty and not well vacuumed
It wouldnât take much to make this apartment well equipped and CLEAN!
Very disappointed in this experience and will look at booking direct with skytower in the event I stay here again to make things easier when there are issues.
Our experience was average.
The bathroom/shower wasnât very clean. Sheets, furniture and carpets didnât feel very clean. There was rubbish under the bed and the tv didnât work, nor did most lamps. I tried contacting the apartment owner but it was either disconnected/rang through. Also, the dishwasher door didnât close while the top shelf was sitting in.
The advert stated that parking was included (was a deciding factor for our stay) however, after lack of communication with the owner and speaking to hotel/parking staff we found out parking wasnât included and we paid an additional $190 in parking fees for the weekend.
However, the apartment was in a very central location in the city, plenty of laundry and kitchen appliances and had range of books and games.
The stay was good, but let down that we couldnât access the gym and pool area due to the key card not letting us access the sky tower, I rang the number provided and told them about the issues but never got resolved, bit of a let down to be honest but otherwise it was good
