It was a little on the pricey side but it was comfortable, clean and not too noisy with traffic. The reno gave it a modern feel and balcony seating was with a beer in the Arvo.
Very cost effective budget accommodation. Lovely room which was clean and modern with a comfy bed. Ideal connection for Spring Hill City Loop bus service. I would recommend the junior suite with air conditioning.
Only negative comment would be that the walls are very thin and you can clearly hear conversations above and sideways.
Bit of a mixed range of guests, as some of the rooms are private hostel style, but this did not put me off, although may not suit everyone.
Access to the city was very easy via the free bus or walking through Roma Street Parklands.
Modern & clean inside.
Room was small but had everything I needed, to make my stay comfortable.
The hotel provides most facilities, but my room didnât have an air conditioner. Although there was a fan, it wasnât sufficient for staying comfortably in the summer.
Additionally, there were no window screens, so bugs could easily fly in.
This is basically a hostel. Thereâs no air conditioning in the room, so itâs impossible to sleep during the summer because it gets extremely hot and stuffy. I stayed for one night and couldnât sleep at all. Thereâs no bathroom or toilet in the room; instead, there are only two shared bathrooms, and the toilets and showers arenât separated. The room is very crampedâthereâs barely enough space between the two single beds to fit a suitcase. Youâd be much better off staying at a YHA hostel.
