Disappointing stay. My friend and I booked a Saturday and Sunday night. We had requested twin beds, which was not the setup in the room on arrival. When I called reception they promised to send housekeeping to fix, but they never came. On Sunday our room was not made up or towels changed. When I enquired, I was told they don’t do housekeeping on Sundays! That would have be nice to know in advance. The rooftop area was very scruffy and there were overflowing rubbish bins including rubbish piled into a planter box. The basement carpark was dirty and had boxes of rubbish left by the lifts which stayed there the whole time we were there. No milk provided- not even UHT. The only positive was the bed was comfortable even if it wasn’t the configuration we had requested.

Staff wanted me to pay for my booking again even though I had a receipt of my payment through Wotif. He told me that I needed to pay again and then make contact with Wotif to get the money back. The female receptionist told him to look at something else on the computer screen and then he said he would sort it. The room was loud with a big group of teenagers on the floor who were running around in the corridor. It felt like a school camp. Would not recommend.

Restaurants, cafes and shopping centres within walking distance. Great coffee from cafe downstairs. Lovely helpful staff. My room was facing main road which at times was busy and noisy. However it was bearable. Nice shower preasure and bed was comfortable.

Good value.

Clean room and check in was very quick. Parking was $20, but I’ll never understand why it’s not free for guests. It should be. The window wouldn’t close properly which let the traffic noise in very clearly, so I jammed a towel in the crack to help. Certainly good value, but a bit noisy. Walls are thin too.
