Fantastic Stay

Went with our daughter and her family. We enjoyed the relaxation and beautiful countryside. The 2 young boys thoroughly enjoyed the farm and interacting with the farmers dogs and feeding the horses and donkey. Very enjoyable stay.

Outstanding Holiday

A very nice barn conversion in a wonderful setting and lovely hosts. Makes a good base for visiting Bath, walks to and around Dyrham Park, and (a bit further afield) Longleat. We particularly enjoyed the friendly pack of dogs and cats who live on the farm and are happy for a chat anytime! Looking forward to visiting again!

Fabulous barn conversion

This is one of the very best properties we’ve used over the years. Very comfortable for five adults. Wonderful quiet location with lovely footpaths leading in all directions. The dogs and cats - and horses and donkey- all were friendly company.

Fabulous stay at this beautiful barn, exactly like the photos. We booked this very last minute and we were not disappointed. Owners very accommodating and happy to go the extra mile. Location has easy access to the M4 and close to Bath. Easy to travel around and explore the area. Highly recommend.

Perfect long weekend away to celebrate

We visited Middle Barn for a long weekend of birthday celebrations for my mum and family. Communication with our hosts (Tom and Kate) was great, we met them on arrival and nothing was too much trouble over the weekend, giving us good local information as to where to go, where to park and what to do. The barn was very clean, warm and cosy. The log burner was lovely for a November evening. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and it was a perfect space for having a family celebration. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

Middle Barn is absolutely superb!

We very much enjoyed our stay, location is stunning with access to walks along the Cotswold Way. The accommodation is really lovely, comfortable, clean superbly laid out with great attention to detail. Our stay was to attend Badminton Horse Trials which was very close by and our evening relaxing back at the beautiful Barn were very appreciated after long days walking. We enjoyed the company of the resident dogs and cats and Kate was a fantastic host. I would highly recommend Middle Barn and the girls and I will definitely be back again.

Lovely quiet area and handy for Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds. If you like walking, the Cotswold Way is only a 5 min walk across a field. The Barn is well restored, well equipped and comfortable although there are quite a few steps to different levels. The 2 ensuite bathrooms only have a half wall partition between the bathroom and the bedroom which is a bit weird.

Middle Barn in September

We had a great time on the farm. The owners are incredibly nice people and we made friends with all of their dogs. The road into the property has quite a few pot holes in it that need filled to protect the car tires. The living room needs a few lamps to brighten it up at night and otherwise it was fantastic.

Fabulous retreat and base

Loved it 100%. Loved the welcome from the dogs and cat - made the holiday for grown-up kids that have different interests but bond on animals. Perfect base to meet up with family and explore the Bath and Bristol area.

Weekend Stay

We were visiting the local area for a family party and it was a perfect location for us. The property itself was lovely, we did however feel that the quality of some of the furnishings and equipment was not up to the same standard. The pillows in particular were very poor quality.

Lovely stay in a great location

Really enjoyed our stay in the Middle Barn. Place was lovely, very well equipped, and a great spot for walks out the door. Hosts were super friendly and informative (even gifting us some lamb for the BBQ when our food order failed to delivery). Was great value for the spec and location so would definitely stay again.
