Took our grown children and grandchildren for 4th of July. We rented two different places and would meet up at Bear trap and grandchildren had a ball swimming and eating. We cooked outWe took them kayaking State park Wonderful time
We enjoyed our stay very much it was peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful house, and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend staying here of you get the chance.
Bear Trap is a great house for a family to relax! We only stayed for the weekend but we had a great time. We stayed during the poolâs off season but it looked like it would be a blast so we plan to try & rebook the house during the summer months!
This was the perfect place for our family. 2 kids 3 and 6. They loved the bunk beds. Loved the layout of the house and loved the big huge deck. Loved that there were board games and jenga to play. Location is perfect, just outside of beavers bend! Will be staying there again!
The cabin is nestled away, so you donât feel like youâre on top of your neighbor. 4x4 or AWD is a must. Would love to come back in summer when pool is up and running. My family had a great spring break.
The houses was very nice and clean but the reasons for the rating was that when we booked we expected to have access to the pools which is why we decided to book. Our complaint is that we were never told that the pool would not be available. If we had known this we would have never booked the house. We also had problems with jacuzzi in which we had to continue to fill with water. The outside table in which we were going to have western dinner was warped and wobbly so we could not eat or use the table. Upstairs bedroom were king bed was located had a dirty comforter set on it..The other complaint was that when we arrived at cabin which was around 7:30 it was very difficult not to mention scary to drive our vehicles onto property. I realy think that there should have been some lights along the road to prevent accidents or damages to vehicle. Overall the house was beautiful but it ruin our weekend but we made the best out of it. It put a damper on what we were trying to achieve especially with us being out of school for over 35 years and we were wanting to recreateour themes.
50th anniversary in June-late celebration for the 2 of us!
Definitely a hideaway in the woods-roads may be dangerous after a heavy rain or sleet or snow-one lane road up n down a couple of steep hills w/some potholes(could use some road repair in couple of places getting to cabin!
Cabin was great, although I am use to being able to see sunrises n sets/here there are so many gorgeous pines n other trees that itâs hard to see very far! We very much enjoyed our stay, tho!
We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin! The roads to get in and out are steep and a little rough but once there, we had a great time. The cabin is beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved every minute of our quick getaway.
Home & property were beautiful. Used hot tub one night without heat-not working. Next day it had a mildew oder, slime & dirt floating & called maintenence. They drained & cleaned it by the evening, it was a green color. Pool was sparkling first night & next day cloudy & got clouder. Asked about chlorine but told not necessary. Beds were very comfortable but when removed the sheets to wash them, the mattress cover had yellow stains on them. Could have used more that one roll of paper towels & more than two rolls of toilet paper.
This place was exactly what we needed after long days of baseball in sweltering weather. Clean, welcoming and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The deck in the mornings was cool and the trees were beautiful. A 10 for sure!
If you are looking for a luxury cabin for 5-8 members in Broken Bow 3 minutes away from Beavers Bend State Park, this is it!
My family of 5 had a wonderful time here despite bad weather. The host went the extra mile to check the weather and let me know the safest time to drive before we left. She also mentioned that the view is beautiful even in the rain, which was true.
The cabin itself is in top shape and has all the luxury amenities of a smart home. Despite this, there is plenty of hardwood to appeal to the âcabin aestheticâ.
I canât end the review without mentioning the deck. It was stunning and leads you right into the woods. There is a beautiful pool, but we werenât able to swim in it because we arenât in pool season yet.
My husband, children, and I would love to visit again in the future. I highly recommend it for location, aesthetics, and comfort!
A picturesque setting! We loved the views and the coziness of the cabin. We have stayed in Broken Bow a lot and this is our favorite property so far! We happened to stay when an unexpected ice storm happened and Quinton was great at communicating with us and helping us be prepared !
