Great location and Jamie, the contact person, was very friendly and quick to respond. Our teens loved the basketball court, pool table and the hot tub!
We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. The cabin was very clean; had everything we needed to cook and plenty of space for our family of 6. The kids stayed upstairs and enjoyed the game room and basketball court. The roads in the area have many potholes, so plan to drive slowly to get to cabin.
We were a group of 10 ranging from age 5-47. The whole crew had a great time even though we had some rainy weather. Check in process was insanely smooth. Big kudos to the managing company because we blew a fuse the first night at 11pm and i texted her not really expecting help, but she responded and helped us out. Much appreciated. Pros: cabin was spacious and had everything they described in the listing. We cooked every meal in the cabin so it was helpful havving a slow cooker, blender, etc.
We had a lot of fun here. Plenty to do inside the cabin and around town. My biggest complaint was the condition of the roads in the neighborhood. They are in terrible shape and even going slow still could do some damage to your vehicle if itâs lower or if you donât see a pothole In time. Other than that everything was good.
This is a nice house but has deferred maintenance. No toiletries included in stay. Each bathroom had 2 wash cloths for 3 night stay and we had 2 adults in each room. The towels are like cardboard. Upon arrival the entry code would not work. The manager set code and it worked. Could not find remotes to TVâs. Batteries were needed ( manager brought) for a couple of remotes, we had 2 trash bags for entire stay. Light bulbs are out in several lights. These are all items the cleaning crew or manager should ensure are working prior to arrival. The water heater was froze when we got there. It thawed soon after arrival. The back porch was not cleaned. I should have read reviews⊠there is something wrong with the HVAC system. There is no way to regulate the heat in this house. Downstairs was freezing and upstairs was like a sauna. The guest book mentions this a lot. The summer would be miserable. I canât imagine staying here during the summer. The game room is a nice addition. We managed to open both windows in 20 degree weather and stay up there to play several rounds of pool. We stayed here because it had a bathroom for each room and we had 6 people. It is convenient with easy access to the highway. The streets/roads to the houses are in bad bad shape. I think this is the norm. At least as long as construction is going on. This home needs more attention to detail. Sometimes itâs the small things that set you apart and help your guest overlook other forgotten items.
This year has been tough for my family, especially after losing my 18-year-old brother to cancer. He was an avid hunter who loved everything about the woods, so when we found this place, it felt like the perfect escapeâfamiliar, yet not quite home. It had something for everyone, and the bonus? Every morning, from 7-9 AM, deer strolled right through which made us feel like my brother was their with us! To top it off, we had a personal Bigfoot sightingâhe snapped branches and shook trees right through our camp, keeping the kids on edge all night! Overall, a 10/10 stay weâll never forget. Highly recommend!
This was a great short summer vacation. We stayed for 3 nights. On arrival, description of the location was accurate about the roadway. Be sure you bring an SUV/truck! Had a little trouble getting inside because the keypad code was not set up. Contacted the owners and they fixed the issue within 10 minutes. Property was very clean, only issue was a pair of underwear that was left under the bed from previous renters Iâm assuming. Location was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a summer getaway. Pool table, games, basketball court was more than enough to have things to do. Overall 4/5 stars, I would definitely reccomend to others!
Our family enjoyed the cabin. Everything was as described. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were nice and spotless. Game room area was a lot of fun and great place to hang out and play pool and classic arcade games. Kitchen had all essentials to cook any kind of meal. We grilled steaks on the outdoor grill and it worked flawlessly. The back deck is amazing g and was a nice area to drink coffee in the morning. Hot tub works great and the basketball court in the woods was a nice touch! Best cabin weâve stayed at in Broken Bow!
We selected this specifically for the outside play options with the basketball court and kid play area, however they actually spent more time in the game area upstairs, probably because it was so hot, but all the kids did enjoy it. Ages 16, 13, 13, 11, and 6. All boys except for 13 yo girl. They also enjoyed exploring the creek out back. It was also a plus that we could find some things on tv to watch that did not require us to login as we personally don't have any streaming options except Peacock which would not give an option to login. It only gave us the option to purchase which I did not need to do since I already have that account.
The cabin was very nice with nice comfy beds and conveniently located to most of the places we needed to go. I did take off a star because of the tight driving space and roads in disrepair. The one complaint I would have about the cabin is that the game area is open and has very noisy (did not find a volume control) games which is quite annoying if you are trying to watch tv down stairs.
All-in-all it was a nice stay and we all enjoyed it.
The cabin was perfect for our combined family of 10! It was complete with everything you need to prepare meals. The hot tub, fire pit and basketball court were used often. There was even a small creek behind the house and my son was able to catch some crawdads. Our only complaint was it couldâve been a bit cleaner. The sheets on one of the beds had what looked like blood stains. We just washed them and put them back on before sleeping. Other than that one minor thing it was a great stay!
I enjoyed this cabin quite a bit. The beds were big, clean, and comfy. The basketball court was a nice touch that got used way more than expected, excellent for tiring the kids before bed. The location was great for getting right on the highway while still feeling out of town.
This was a great place to stay! We had a little trouble with the air conditioning but it wasnât too hot when we stayed so wasnât that big of a deal. Overall great place to stay.
My family all came out for a long weekend to celebrate April birthdays but to also commemorate the one year passing of our youngest brother. He went to heaven last year at the young age of 43 years old. This cabin was absolutely everything that our family needed to start the process of healing. It allowed us all to be together to share stories. To laugh and cry together. It was absolutely the perfect place. Inside was very clean and organized. Outside was full of so many fun activities for the small kids and even us big kids. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to check out a reality for a bit
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived until the second we left, everything was perfect. The accommodations were comfortable, the amenities exceeded our expectations, and the location was ideal. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience â we can't wait to come back!
We loved this cabin! Stayed for 4 nights in March and had 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 10,14,&17) in our group. This cabin has it all! Great location- close to the fun activities Hochatown has to offer; we went fly fishing, zip lining, and did the maze. Great hikes nearby. But we had just as much fun hanging at the house playing horseshoes, corn hole, pool, games and enjoying the fire pit. The covered deck was perfect for the rainy afternoon we had- we could still be outside and it was fun to enjoy the hot tub and corn hole this way. The basketball court was a dream for my son. Would absolutely stay here again.
We were very pleased with our stay at the cabin. We were there for 5 days and there were seven in our family. The overall layout was great, lots of room to move around. We very much enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the deck, as well as the hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed during our stay.
It was our first time to Broken Bow, and we would not hesitate to return to that cabin.
