The space and location was perfect for us after a float down the river. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It is close enough to the historical areas we wanted to visit but out of the congested areas. We will stay again if we are in the area.
I was visiting family and loved this apartment! It was in a great location close to all things downtown Brunswick. Could walk to restaurants, a brewery, bakery, and convenience store. The owner was so nice and we felt very welcome! Definitely be prepared to hear trains but luckily my kids loved watching them go by. Cute balcony area too. It was a super cute rental and we appreciated how there were a few kids toys and games to play with there already! Recommend!
First of all, this place had the nicest bath towels of anyplace I have ever stayed! Very comfy and pleasant, and in a great location to explore the main street of Brunswick- antique shops, fabulous coffee shop and bakery, and a lovely art gallery. I plan on staying here again.
Train station next to lodging not mentioned in the description.
The train station is next to the property. This was not mentioned in the description. So trains are blasting their horns all night. In addition, it is in a part of town that is being rehabbed. Which means after hearing trains all night hammers and construction start at 7:00 in the morning. Also there is a sign that you must do the dishes before leaving. Then why do you have to pay a 50.00 cleaning fee?
Needed to be in the Brunswick, Frederick, Charles Town area. This place fit the bill. Convenient, quiet, with off street parking. Great communication with the owners. Would absolutely stay there again.
We booked this as our honeymoon and it was perfect. Lots of historical places within a few minutes. Several restaurants in easy walking distance. Very comfortable and nice place to stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
We actually did not get to stay overnight as we had an injury on the Appalachian trail, but prior to, we stopped in for a small break. The property is beautiful, clean, and truly cozy. There were toys for our small kids to play with, and it has everything you need for a nice stay.
As advertised...comfortable..heat/cooling in individual rooms was nice...cold fridge...great shower pressure/temp...not much space for cooking but that was why we picked it, we atr out and relaxed.liquor store 2 mins up the street...went to baltimore/ fells point(1hr15min) also into WV harpers ferry...short trip..would stay again
The location was perfect. The host were very prompt with any questions. Everything was very clean and all essentials at hand. Would come back if in the area.
Overall Kim is a lovely host and they made me feel like I could ask them anything My main problem was it was freezing. I couldn't find out how to turn the heat up and i did notice the space heater but it didnt work. The 2nd thing was the construction across the street. And the trains very loud at times but overall inhad a good time .
Friendly hosts, comfortable home like accommodations very close to the C&O Towpath, super friendly neighborhood tuxedo cat comes from his nearby home & family to do his rounds, greet guests, make sure all is well.
Great little spot with in walking distance around town and very close driving to the northern va breweries. Nice, cute, clean place. Everything we needed for a low key quite weekend.
My wife and I loved our stay with Kim and Todd. Brunswick was our favorite trail town during out C&O Canal ride. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we ride the C&O
Excellent place to stay in a quiet and friendly town
We really enjoyed staying here for a couple of nights. The place was very comfortable and well decorated. It was easy to walk down the street for a bite to eat and we felt safe at all times. The trains do get noisy at times but we quickly tuned it out and got a good nightâs sleep. Would definitely recommend!
Enjoyed our stay in the town of Brunswick. Parking was very, very easy and they had the outside decorated for fall. The space was great for relaxing after our hiking and sightseeing.
Coffee shops, pizza, and bakeries just a walk down the road. Keep in mind thereâs more activity on weekends and some stores are closed weekdays. The Potomac Street Grill has an American/Mediterranean menu and was delicious! We hit them up for lunch and dinner.
Really so much of a better stay than a hotel. We had cooked on the hot plate and had a big fridge to keep travel food. Our hosts got back with us quickly when we had questions. Everything was clean and accommodating. Just a heads up for any sensitive sleepers that there are train whistles you might hear. A good pair of headphones can take care of that.
Perfect spot for our last overnight biking trip PBGH2DC
Tha apartment was indeed cozy but plenty of room. Amenities were adequate, restaurants, brewpubs close by. Convenient, secure bike storage. Only minor glitch was the keyless entry hadnât been configured when we arrived but Todd quickly fixed that.
