A perfect escape in the woods!We’re officially obsessed with this yurt. Everything about it was magical—the aesthetic, the thoughtful details, the peaceful setting
 it was even better than we imagined. The hot tub and deck were a total dream, especially under the stars. It felt remote and private in the best way, but it’s still a quick drive to Bethel if you feel like venturing out.We found great hikes nearby, but honestly, we were just as happy hanging out at the yurt, soaking in the calm and cozy vibes. Every little element—from the interior decor to the layout and amenities—was so well thought out. You can tell a lot of love went into this place.We loved everything and already can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Mini-Moon Vacation

My wife and just got married and wanted to spend some time together before going back to work after our wedding. The yurt was very clean and the perfect escape for us to enjoy a special moment together at the beginning of our marriage. The hot tub was great way to relax and the small outdoor area was perfect to play corn-hole while we had a fire going.

What an amazing stay! Shari and Jeff were thoughtful hosts. Everything you possibly need for a wonderful get away is provided. We enjoyed immersing ourselves in nature. Ski days at Mt. Abram —so close, so reasonably priced and the best mountain staff! Sunsets in the hot tub-ahhh!!! Local restaurants in Bethel - Mountain Social Kitchen - delicious meal and drinks. Snowshoeing at Buck’s Ledge Trail- so close with beautiful views. Although the temps dipped into the teens, we were so warm and cozy in the Yurt with the pellet stove. We didn’t want to leave!! Thank you Shari and Jeff! Songbird Yurt is truly amazing!

The Perfect Getaway!

This has been the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights while we went snowboarding at Sunday River. It was conveniently close to the slopes and grocery stores while also having privacy away from everyone. The pellet stove was easy to use and kept the yurt comfortably warm. The deck overlooks the sunset and the hot tub was amazing after a longgg day of falling on my butt. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was extremely clean! The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you may need for cooking! Shari and Jeff are very quick to respond if anything is needed as well. Perfect for a small group of friends or a romantic getaway. 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A perfect getaway!

Shari and Jeff were amazing hosts! Their property is a little slice of heaven. The space is so cozy, with a comfortable bed, all of the extras you would ever need, and clear instructions for everything. Shari and Jeff left us without needing a thing and without any lingering questions regarding the property. We had a great getaway and were able to relax and unwind in their beautiful yurt. Would recommend this experience to anyone!

Cozy Get Away

10/10 would definitely stay again! The minute we opened the door we felt right at home, so cute and cozy. We loved this yurt! Shari is a wonderful host, from the welcome basket, to the extra toothbrushes in the bathroom, she has gone above and beyond. So thankful that we were able to bring our senior dog so he could experience this beautiful yurt with us. Can’t wait to stay again!

Peace in the woods of Maine

Where do I begin? My husband and I stayed in this yurt for our 24th anniversary and I have no regrets! Other than hiking Tumbledown, we never left because nothing else compared to the tranquility we felt when in the yurt or in the hot tub. The sound of the rain on the roof was so calming. The hosts literally think of everything down to the extracurricular activities like Jenga, the bathroom supplies, having laundry detergent and the S’mores, wine and popcorn was just the touch to blow us away because it was the extra attention to their guests that make them stand out. I don’t need to say more
just reserve it and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

A Magical Weekend

Birdsong yurt is and was everything we needed to escape the everyday craziness that life brings. Upon arrival at the property, and even prior to entry, we were in awe! It is jaw dropping gorgeous! Everything is perfect! The lighting, the view, the privacy is perfect! Once we parked and entered, our jaws dropped and this wave of euphoria washed over us. The yurt has this magical ability to immediately send you in relaxation mode. This was one of the most comfortable, and inviting moments I’ve ever experienced. Shari and Jeff have worked exceptional magic in creating what I considered the perfect and romantic getaway in Birdsong yurt. The actual bird songs were lovely, we also even experienced some other beautiful fauna as we had a Luna moth visit the first evening (if you’ve never seen one, they’re majestic). Sarah and I look forward to revisiting the yurt to experience it in the winter months. Thank you for a perfect weekend Shari and Jeff, we love Birdsong yurt!

Great Stay in amazing YURT

Can’t say how much we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Yurt. It is a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should enjoy. The amenities were amazing and we were right at home here. Breath taking view from the deck and while relaxing in the hot tub! Two outdoor fire areas and the lovely inside Pellet stove made for cozy nights! We will definitely be returning to this lovely YURT.

Great relaxing stay

We had the best weekend at the Birdsong Yurt. The place was well furnished and exceeded our expectations. Well kept and very clean. From relaxing in the hot tub to staying warm in front of the pellet stove, we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing weekend. Conveniently located in a quiet area and close to town. The host was very responsive and friendly. Well worth the experience.

Book it now, you will fall in love ,like we did!

My husband and I along with our 16 year old dog decided it was time to take a trip together. The Yurt was a perfectly curated stay. Details like our welcome package to make s’mores and a hand written card from Shari and Jeff. They have thought of everything. Cozy and comfortable. Air conditioning was awesome ( July 2022 was a hot one) my husband runs hot. You can step out from the back sliding door to a back porch that comfortably fit the two of us , while we could watch the sun set into the mountain beyond. A few steps down from the back deck there is a hot tub and a little bit past a fire pit with 4 chairs. This is a perfect place to unwind, and recover after a long day of hiking, so many trails within 15-30 minute car ride. It’s the perfect place if you love the Idea of camping but still like a comfy bed and air conditioning. Everything about the Yurt, the property and the Host are top notch and A+ ,highly recommend. Book it now, you won’t regret it. You can tell the Hosts love this property and that Love shows. Clean, Responsive to questions, Quiet, off the beaten path and comfortable, lots of provided amenities.

Amazing vacation spot

Our stay at Birdsong Yurt, was beyond our expectations!!!!! Everything as described and more ... the Yurt had every luxury amenity you could think of. Shari was a great host, and was responsive within minutes, of asking question. The yard and deck had a great view of the mountains, and the night sky. We were visiting family in the area, and decided to give this a try, and we were so glad we did. We highly recommend Birdsong and look forward to our next visit
