We had a beautiful Easter weekend at this home with family and I would highly recommend it. The lake levels were low and that is not anything anybody can control.
The house itself is great. Lots of room, very quiet and comfortable. However there are a couple things Iâll call out. The front door lock NEEDS to be replaced. I had to use the emergency physical key the whole time as the code would only work 1 out of 10 times. I couldnât even get it to lock most times. It needs more than just a reset. Trying to troubleshoot this on the phone after I arrived in the dark was not exactly how I wanted to start my stay. The water filter needs to be serviced or removed. You can only get a trickle of water out at a time and it tasted horrible.
Advertising was misleading. No hot tub or BBQ grill able to be used, broken beds upstairs, needs a very deep cleaning & painting with carpet cleaning. Items list in fridge was in question as if were charged for cleaning why would it be our responsibility to take bedding down, take garbage out to the curb, run dishwasher. What does cleaning pay for. Animal crackers food toys under the furniture. So thereâs your dignity not being well cleaned Pet stains on the carpet in LR. Floors had not been mopped prior to our stay. Was a nice place Iâm sure but definitely shows lack of attention for a high price.
The house was filthy. Especially the kitchen. Bugs along the walls, dirt in the cabinets. We actually excited about the hot tub bbut we were nervous it was dirty and when we got the lid off it was full of water AND leaves. Obviously did not use.
We had a great time. We caught fish. We fried fish there. We went hunting doves. We cooked doves on the grill. It was a beautiful weekend. Cool rain some but didn't ruin our weekend. Love to the place
The layout of the property is workable. Its a little odd to being staying in the front bedroom witht the half bath connected. Everyone used that restroom throughout our stay. Disappointed to not have paper towels or dishwasher soap upon arrival. Also, gas grill with empty propane. Luckily, we did bring some for the crab boil we planned. Calling the property waterfront is also a little misleading. It's great to have the view, but it is not easily accessible. Overall, great weeekend with friends.
Being a newly blended family .. where we married in our 40âs - with a total of 7 children .. ranging in age from 8 to 24 . Itâs hard to have space to enjoy each others company .. we can do that here ! & we will hopefully , be back soon !!
Perfect spot to hang and connect with family and friends
Great common area and very convenient bedrooms and bathrooms. Kids (0-5yo) loved it and we enjoys the sunrises and sunsets over the lake with the giant window in the living room. Would definitely want to come back! We even accidentally left a blanket from our 2yo and they made sure we got it back.
It was a beautiful home. However, it is supposed to be on the lake, and there was no water within 1/2 a mile due to the extremely low lake levels (not their fault). However, it advertised a hot tub, but the hot tub was drained and not usable, and that was one of the reasons we chose this place. I was disappointed with that. However, there were plenty of places to lay your head, with an abundance of pillows and blankets. If you are a coffee drinker, be sure to bring your own. They offered a tiny bag of coffee, not quite enough to make 1/2 a pot.
There was no water in the lake at the house. There were no cleaning supplies, so we could not use the dishwasher or the washing machine. If something was spilled on the floor we were not able to clean it properly. There was not a dust pan, so it was difficult to sweep and clean the floor.
Well equipped house in remote setting with gorgeous bluebonnets all around the property at spring break.
Location is remote. Lake Buchanan level is down, so that the lakefront is distant. WiFi is not available contrary to confusing language on listing.
Property is great and with a big outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderful for our family to run around and have outdoor fun. Grocery stores, restaurants, and other outings are about 20 -30 minutes away so plan accordingly. We loved hiking at Inks state park and the Longhorn caverns!
Great place to stay if they would maintain the yard, at least a couple of feet around the patio, back yard, and walk paths. I couldnât brag enough about this property if it wasnât for the yard. They expect you to take the garbage to the road, which would be fine if the grass wasnât between waist and chest high and get all over your clothes. If there is a reason for not mowing, at least mow the paths. If they promise to have the yard maintained before your stay, I highly recommend this as a great place to stay.
