This is a very well-located apartment, in a beautiful part of the Fifth district. The location is one of the main pluses of the apartment. You are near good public transportation (the M2 and M3 subway and one of the main trams). Access to all of Budapest is easy, and you are close to the Parliament. There are good restaurants nearby, along with the very good Artizan bakery, and Aldi and Spar supermarkets. The apartment is spacious and has charm. Ceilings are very tall and the decor is generally good. Couch is a bit worn out, but large. *Bed is the real weak spot of the apartment. A thin Ikea mattress on slats that creak whenever you move. So if you have any back issues, this is not for you.* But there is lots of closet space, and the kitchen is functional. (Very little counter space, but everything you need to cook is here.) Communication is generally quick, but this is a company running the place and communication is robotic and cold. We sought an early check-in, for example, and we were told over and over the policy could not accommodate us. I understand, of course, if a check-in cannot be made early. But the company really doesn't seem to care to help, and they promote their own luggage service. You get the feeling they just want you to use their luggage service.Overall, great place. I would definitely recommend it. *But only if you can check in at the late 4PM time. You won't get in earlier . . . *
