We just returned from an amazing family getaway for the long Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful waterfront retreat. We were able to enjoy exactly what we were searching for with our group of our four children, my father, and a friend each for our children. We cooked together and enjoyed our meals in the large, well-appointed kitchen (and barbecue!), we played ping-pong and pop a shot and video games in the game rec room, hung out together to do puzzles and play games in the large family room, played in the water together on the kayaks and paddleboards, and roasted s'mores around the fire pit! Ah and the kids spent plenty of time in the hot tub! We had plenty of room to either spread out for some quiet time or all choose to be together in one place, and all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are wonderful. When rain kept us inside on Saturday, we were able to find plenty to do in the house to keep everyone occupied. And when dry weather and the sun found us on Sunday, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful back yard and all that the boathouse and dock had to offer us. Truly, the yard and home are pristine and the location on the water is dreamy. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the owners/management were highly responsive, answering any of our questions within minutes. I am so grateful that we were able to spend the long weekend as a family and friends in this new and hospitable home!
