Disliked: Cleanliness
We had high expectations but unfortunately things didn't go so well. Start w/the good - it's spacious & conveniently located-quick walk to Church St was great & so was free parking. Sat morning we went to make breakfast & found dirty dishes in the cabinet-They had food & grease stuck on them. We were grossed out and wondered how clean the rest of the place was if someone had put dirty/greasy dishes away. We also found ants in the bed. Not great. We immediately messaged the prop manager. It took her 5 hours to respond & her response was "sorry for the inconvenience" and "I'll talk to the cleaning people". the cleaning fee is 65. So, we felt it reasonable to refund that or part of it, but she refused nor did she reassure us that the rest of the house was clean. In fact, she asked US to do the dirty dishes! As people who VRBO our own property, cleanliness is THE top priority. So we were very taken aback by her response. Later, we ran out of toilet paper (they'd only left a quarter roll). We asked multiple times for more to which she responded if we'd let her know earlier she would have delivered it, as if we were at fault for not checking the TP stock upon arrival. We went to bed without TP. She claimed she left on porch. It wasn't there. Messaged again. Finally arrived. When we pointed out these issues, she claimed she was tired of being harassed. while this spot is in a fab location, the dirty dishes/ants/no TP and, moreso, the prop manager's response require this review
