Située à quelques pas de la plage et offrant une vue imprenable sur l'océan depuis deux terrasses, cette maison en bord de mer est une escapade que vous n'oublierez jamais. EntiÚrement rénové pour la saison 2018, Ocean Point est une évasion confortable pour toute la famille.

Le premier niveau comprend une chambre principale avec un lit king-size et une chambre avec un lit double et un lit simple, ainsi qu’une salle de bain complĂšte et le coin buanderie situĂ© Ă  l’extĂ©rieur du couloir. Toutes les chambres de la maison sont Ă©quipĂ©es d'une tĂ©lĂ©vision pour donner Ă  chacun son propre coin tranquille.

Deux autres chambres principales sont situées à l'étage, juste en bas du couloir depuis le salon en bord de mer et la cuisine avec coin repas. Une demi-salle de bain est également hors du couloir. Sortez sur l'une des terrasses en front de mer pour admirer la vue sur les vagues à couper le souffle ou profitez de la lumiÚre du phare voisin la nuit. Détendez-vous dans le bain à remous de la cuisine au son de la musique de l'océan.

BĂ©nĂ©ficiant d'un accĂšs Ă  la piscine communautaire Lighthouse View et Ă  quelques minutes Ă  pied, en voiture ou Ă  vĂ©lo, des meilleurs restaurants et boutiques de l'Ăźle Hatteras, Once Upon a Time est idĂ©alement situĂ©. Amazing & Relaxing Family Vacation

This house is spectacular! The location cannot be beat and we enjoyed every minute. My husband and I both commented that it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have had for many years. We kept the windows open to hear the ocean. Our kids did not want to swim at any other beach. We will be back!

Beautiful location

Enjoyed our relaxing stay at the home oceanfront. Convenient and relaxing location with good options for things to do and restaurants. Hot tub at the house and a community pool behind the house were a nice addition to the amazing ocean and walks on the beach! Enjoyed seafood and chilling with the family

Perfect view

House was clean, comfortable and ideally located. We relaxed and cooked. The decks were perfect, we were out there as much as possible. The beach was wide and flat. I fell asleep to the waves!!! Great experience and I will be renting this property againđŸ€—đŸ‘

Fabulous house

We had such a wonderful time in this lovely house with GORGEOUS ocean views. We were a bit concerned before going given the storm that happened a few weeks ago, but all was good. There are a whole lot of exposed giant sandbags in front of this and several houses on the beach due to erosion, but we either stepped over the or there was an opening in them to get to the beach. At high tide there wasn't a ton of beach space but more than enough for the amount of people on the beach. The house was very clean, comfortable and beautifully updated and the beds were comfortable. Only issue we had was with a stuck lock on a deck door but maintenance was there very promptly and fixed it. I will second the reviewer who made comments about the kitchen not having anything in it if you plan to cook, as most house rentals usually do. There were plenty of dishes/glasses/silverware/pots and some utensils, but that's about it. Not even any salt and pepper. We ate out most nights so not an issue. There is a charcoal grill but it looked a bit rusted out and in need of a good cleaning. Kudos for the staff for cleaning the place out after the storm. I saw pictures/videos of this house afterwards and it took a big hit. They did a good job in cleaning it up for renters. WIsh I was back there right now!

Unbeatable Oceanview

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay ON a beach for our 10th Anniversary. I'm so thankful we found this property! I still dream about listening to the ocean from the hot tub. We went in early January and it was pretty quiet which was exactly what we were hoping for. The rentals around this one are pretty close so if you're looking for privacy I'd aim for the off season. The property is super close to the Hatteras Lighthouse and restaurant options. Many locations are closed during the off season but there are so many options on OBX that it wasn't an issue, just more opportunity for adventure. The bed was comfortable and kitchen ammenities were exactly what we needed. Great communication from the host re: weather and road conditions.

Beautiful Ocean Views

We absolutely loved the huge windows in the living room on 2 sides. You can watch the ocean and the dolphins and birds all day if you wanted. The bedrooms and number of baths were perfect for our group of 7. We cook a lot when renting a property so the only thing I will say is there is nothing supplied at all. IE: coffee filters, oils, spices, napkins. You will have to buy everything. That is the only drawback I saw. I've stayed in many properties and it's very nice when you don't have to supply every little thing. We actually bought a few extra kitchen utensils and towels and left them there. The only other thing that could have been better were the door knobs. The one out to the hot tub deck is very hard to open/turn and the one out the oceanside door, is not great either.

Amazing Stay

Super clean, spacious and well laid out. Contacts were responsive and helpful. The view and sounds of the beach were incredible. Hot tub right on the deck was a HUGE plus! Went right after the winter holiday season and it was just the right amount of peace and quiet. And got to see a good amount of beach wild life as well-- sand pipers, pelicans, dolphins, etc. Overall amazing spot. Definitely recommend, and would stay again for future OBX trips!

Winter at the beach

I love the beach during the summer, but the fall and winter offer a different experience. We decided to take advantage of our remote from office pandemic days and work from on the beach - literally. The house is so close that you can hear the ocean from every room in the house, which is spacious and well kept. I highly recommend this house any time of year. The location is perfectly close to dining, grocery, attractions, and quiet enough to relax. I truly was home for the week.

Like you’re in the ocean

Extremely easy check in/check out. Property management was very responsive when contacted. House was very clean and well kept. The only down side that needs to be stated up front for renters is that the house can really only be driven up to with a 4x4 vehicle. The “driveway” is all sand from the paved road to the house and is uphill. Management was nice to let us park next door, but would’ve been very inconvenient if there had been renters in that unit. Very enjoyable stay overall!!

Great location.

Overall, great experience. Had issue with the heat coming into one of the upstairs bedroom and maintenance came out immediately. Found out the windows were not closed all the way. Even with closing the windows the heat did not blow in the room as it did in the other rooms. Closing the window in the room exposed alot of dirt and grime on the window ledges and we kept the blinds opened to see the ocean and let the light in. As in other comments, all 5 Ceiling fans are still not being cleaned so we did not use them. There is a family of 5 cats that have no collars but came a running whenever we were on the balcony. Very healthy looking as we noticed other guests feeding them. A storm came thru in November and the sand hasn't been pushed back over the exposed sandbags. This was an issue when trying to park into and leave the parking area as we had a large vehicle and a 3 point turn had us backing into the piles of sand. Would definitely stay again as the location is the best feature with plenty of room and the amenities description is 100% accurate.

Amazing experience

Perfect location! The space in the house worked out great for our family and kids . There were 8 of us and always felt like we had plenty of room. Really liked the layout of the space and of course the incredible views of the ocean in the front yard!!

A Must Stay

This property has beautiful views and is bigger and better than what we were expecting. The 4 1/2 bathrooms was a huge bonus. We loved having the beach right there. The hot tub was awesome out looking the ocean.

Perfect Getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at this beach house. It was so lovely!! Standing in the kitchen/living area felt like you were in the water it’s that close to the beach!! You hear the waves in every room! Everything was very clean. The place had everything you could think of- just make sure if you plan on cooking there- you bring the essentials like salt/pepper/oil, etc. Otherwise they have ALL the kitchen utensils you could think of! We will definitely be back!!

Trapped in Buxton because of OverWash

During our September 2-week stay, 3 hurricanes brushed past us (Paulette, Sally, and Teddy). The locals say we went through a norEaster. The beach was entirely eroded and the asphalt became the sand-covered beach. the roads for miles became lakes. We lost a car and a cellphone to the salt water. And still .... it was a marvelous trip, and we'll be coming back. ... Maybe not in September =)

Best Beach House Ever

Love this house. Smack dab on the beach. Bright, modern, ocean views to die for. 3 of the 4 bedrooms have king beds and en suite bathrooms. The 4 th bedroom has a double and a single bed and has the hall bath to themselves. 2 bedrooms up with living and dining and decks. 2 bedrooms down. Will fit 8 or 9 comfortably. All the furniture and beds were very comfortable.
