Staying here was truly a dream come true. The property was absolutely impeccableâspotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than the photos. The ocean views were breathtaking and made every morning feel like a postcard moment. The living area was spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and having laundry on-site was a huge plus, especially for a longer stay. The location couldnât have been betterâjust minutes from some of the most stunning beaches in Puerto Rico. This stay exceeded all of my expectations, and Iâm already hoping to return soon. Highly recommended!
This is our 3rd year renting this apartment on vacation. My sister and I come back because the 180 view of the ocean from anywhere in the living space is stunning. We are two professionals in our 60s, and the apartment has everything we need. It's actually better than the photos. It's sort of become our home away from home - plus we have a large extended family near by.
The property and view are tremendous and as listed. . . our only problem was the elevator didn't function at all , and we left early after 5 days of taking the stairs. . . a lot of nice touches. . . like bottle of wine /snacks, etc. . .
This is our second year in a row staying in this lovely apartment for vacation to visit family. We come for the stunning ocean views and the unique hospitality. The apartment has everything and some special gifts and touches. Even when we lounge in, we never feel like we're missing out because the ocean is always in view. Thanks, Maria, for a great experience.
We love this part of Cabo Rojo - near "the end of the road" in such a tranquil area where you feel you are far away but gorgeous beaches and other destinations are a quiet and easy 10-20 minute drive in all directions. This penthouse has a mountain to sea view - with lovely space to sit outdoors, take in the views and tranquility. Very well equipped.
The condo was clean, mostly newly appointed. High ceilings, nice hot water. Check in was easy and host was responsive. The huge outdoor private patio overlooking the ocean was great, although underutilized (crying out for more furniture and outdoor living stuff like a grill.) The outdoor was very comfortable but bare bones. Sofa in living room was lumpy, but everything else was nice. Pool area was also bare bones. No lounge chairs or umbrella/tables. Not the owners fault, but know what you're walking into. Not much going on in the little town during the week, it's pretty dead except for the single grocery store. About a mile from Combate Beach, which wasn't super well taken care of, and no vendors during the time we were there. Overall, the apartment/condo was a 5/5, the grounds and common areas were a 3/5, and the town was a 2/5.
Enjoyed the best vacation yet in this condo. The views are spectacular - crystal blue ocean views right from your living room. The space is beautiful and it had everything we needed - including extra welcoming touches. I don't think I can stay anywhere else when I visit PR.
This was a great place for exploring the SW corner of beautiful Puerto Rico! The unit worked very well for two couples--with queen size beds in separate rooms, along with two bathrooms. The views from the 5th floor patio and balcony were amazing: we were surprised that we could see Faro Los Morrillos in the distance.
On our drive down from NW PR, we stopped in Rincon to explore El Faro de Rincon lighthouse. The overlook from the grounds is beautiful, with views of surfers and Domes Beach. Then we stopped at Sam's Club in Mayaguez to stock up with food before we arrived for our Cabo Rojo stay.
On our first day we took the short drive to explore the Faro Los Morrillos lighthouse, and swim at Playa Sucia. We were disappointed to find that the road to the parking areas was blocked/locked, but the resulting 1.25 mile hike (each way) from our car was well worth it. This is now our favorite beach in PR! We then stopped at Annie's Place on Combate beach for appetizers to wrap up our day.
We took another day trip to the dry forest, Bosque Estatal de Guanica, for some hiking: we were not very impressed with the hiking trails we picked, but we did enjoy one lookout point and stayed for a picnic lunch at provided picnic tables in the shade. Flush toilets are available at this park near the information kiosk. After lunch we spent the afternoon at Buye Beach, which is clearly very popular with both locals and visitors like us.
We really enjoyed our stay in Cabo Rojo!
The ocean views and sunsets were stunning!!!! It's up on a ridge which gives 180° ocean views!
The place was well stocked and perfect for lounging or spending time with the family and friends. The veranda is huge! Plenty of room for relaxing and enjoying the sunsets! Combate beach is off the beaten path but not secluded. Grocery store is only a couple of miles away and there are several restaurants and bars in the area. You can walk to the beach or the bars and restaurants but a car is the best bet. Great pool with waterfall and slide for the kids. Would have liked 2 nightstands in each bedroom but that wasn't a deal breaker. Maria was communicative and helpful. Would definitely come back here again.
Very nice condo. True to pictures of listing and nice pool. Property Mgr, Maria was very responsive and accommodating. Combate Beach was very nice but not many restaurants in the immediate area. We enjoyed our peaceful time with dear friends.
