Can’t wait to return!!!

Our family could not have asked for a better week at The Palms #10. The property is stunning, clean, safe, and private. But what was most appreciated was the kind staff. Everyone from check-in, to grounds maintenance, to housekeepers, to bartenders, to security
..everyone was SO kind, helpful, and friendly. Jose helped us practice our Spanish, and Anthony made the most delicious drinks. The daily massages were perfection. The property never seemed at all crowded, even though we were told it was quite full. Every night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves, and in the morning we were 20 steps away from having our toes in the sand. Highly recommend renting a golf cart to explore the area. Coco Loco was next door and some of our favorite food from the week. La Plaza also had wonderful food choices, the Monday night market, as well as a small grocery store. And Flamingo Marina was our morning stop for coffee and breakfast. They also had a pharmacy and urgent care clinic that was needed for my son’s ear infection. $14 fix! The ONLY downside to the week spent at The Palms was that we never wanted to leave to explore much further. A 90 minute drive to go see ________?! No thanks, we are perfectly happy in paradise!

Relaxing vacation

The Palms facility is awesome. As others have mentioned the on site Palms concierge staff located in the main office is incredible to work with. I messaged special places of Costa Rica the first day we got there with a question safes in the unit and still have had not heard back (that was a week ago). The condo itself was clean, and in excellent condition, with the exception of one living room chair, which was torn as other reviewers have mentioned. The towels must have been replaced since the last reviewer commented, as we found our towels to all be fresh and in good condition. we did not have any issues with the faucets as previously described. The beds were comfortable. We utilized the sleeper sofa in the living room, and no complaints about that either. Overall, it was a great vacation. The pool, the ocean, the on-site Palms staff, all amazing!

The Palms resort is perfection! This unit is not in great condition.

The Palms is a wonderful place to vacation. The beach location is fantastic and their onsite service is the best. They offer concierge service and amenities that are wonderful. This unit needs to some maintenance. The faucets drip, shower heads are not fully functioning, beds are hard, the furniture is uncomfortable and torn, microwave was broken and didn't get replaced for days, and the towels were very worn out with stains. We've stayed at the Palms before in a different unit and it was far more comfortable and the unit was maintained in a manner you would expect for this price point. The Palms is a wonderful place to vacation and I would stay their again just select a different unit.

PERFECT relaxing beach vacation

It's shocking to me that this magnificent property is not well known throughout the entire world. This place is a complete game changer. I searched for 14 hours looking for a high-end house that was just steps to the beach and found all that and more in The Palms. It's even better than my very high expectations thought it would be. The staff truly go above and beyond. A quick text and they will help you with whatever you need. We came prepared with a list of activities we wanted to do while there. The concierge planned deep sea fishing (where my son caught a tuna which we ate for dinner 2 nights in a row) and surfing for us. She helped us get a rental car for a couple days. She booked multiple massage appointments and lunch reservations at the W. She placed room service orders with Coco Loco. Whatever we needed, she helped! The ocean and pool water are both warm. The waves are perfect for jumping and we made use of the free boogie boards daily. The sunsets are out of this world gorgeous. The massages by Janet were wonderful. I had 3 during our stay and it was perfect with the ocean breeze and the sounds of the waves crashing. We are already looking forward to going back next year. Friendly note to the owner: the mattresses are not very comfortable and could use replacing/ pillow toppers. The large couch should also be replaced. The cushions immediately slip right off when you're sitting on it rendering it almost completely unusable. Otherwise, it is sheer perfection.

Beautiful and relaxing

Villa is just like the photos and contained everything we needed. We visited during the ‘rainy’ season so the addition of an umbrella would be a good idea to include in the future. The resort is beautiful and everyone working there was extremely helpful and friendly. The Palms concierge could not have been more helpful - they were available to arrange tours, call in restaurant orders, and were happy to answer any questions we had. ‘Special Places’ the company managing this particular Villa did not appear to be as professional or efficient as the Palms onsite staff. For example we had arranged with Special Places to have groceries delivered the day we arrived because we knew we were arriving late on a Sunday and wouldn’t be able to find food available, however no groceries were there. No apology was made until the next day (when the groceries arrived) and Special Places messaged me to ask how I would like to pay
 I still had to pay the delivery fee - it was frustrating for us. Minimal contact with Special Places occurred during our stay, and we interacted much more with The Palms staff who reached out often and were more than happy to help us. Special Places did arrange for a doctor to come and give us the required Covid-19 tests before our departure but that was set up ahead of time. Overall we did not allow this one annoyance to get in the way and we had a wonderful vacation. We love Costa Rica, Playa Flamingo and The Palms and are already working on when we will return!

Beautiful Location

The Palms is a unique Costa Rican experience with its idyllic beach front location, beautiful condos, manicured garden areas, infinity pool and perfect white sandy beach. This condo is perfect for a family vacation. Well appointed, super clean, comfortable and great A/C.
