Luxury and Location!!

This was my third trip to Costa Rica and first time with family that requested "luxurious" accommodations. This property will not disappoint! The home and grounds are amazing! There are three very similar homes on the property with each having a manicured lawn that goes to the beachfront. Views are amazing from 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The kids got the smaller room with a small window that still sees the ocean :) Everything is controlled with remote controls, music, shades, thermostat, and the AC is COLD! The infinity pool seems on the small side but is suprisingly spacious going from a gentle-sloping, safe walk in entry then wrapping around the HOT hottub, and ending about 5 1/2 feet deep! My wife and I loved resting in the pool, looking out at the ocean with a nice cold drink on the hottest days! The beach is not crowded and is generally very nice, though sticks will float in if you get stormy days. I enjoy running, and the beach in front of this section is about 3/4 mile in length. Coco Loco's restaurant is very good and a short walk down the beach. I was not a fan of the Margaritaville that sits at the opposite end of this beach. That is just over a half mile down, so no noise or crowds from there will impose on your stay. There is a small supermarket about 3/4-1 mile from the house, around the corner past Margaritaville which my wife and I walked to, but you can certainly drive there too. The road is narrow, loaded with parked cars during the busy season, and very bumpy til you reach the asphalt past Margaritaville. We did not use the in-home chef service, but the neighbors told me it is AMAZING! Our ladies did the in-home massage and enjoyed that very much! Should you choose to go fishing, I would highly recommend gofishcr.com. They will help you arrange the type of fishing you are interested in and they offered pickup from a location about 10 minutes from this house. You will have to drive yourself there, then they pick you up in a small boat. I did not interact with special places for tours on this trip since we only wanted to go fishing, and I had booked that in advance. I did find them to be very professional and accommodating, and I'm sure they do a great job helping if you are looking for things to do while staying here. The security guard was very professional, and our group loved the property manager, Alexander! He was wonderful and helped us find local produce and was an absolute delight to work with!!

Beautiful location

The home is beautiful! The beach is steps away and absolutely gorgeous. Everyone took such great care of us and handled all of our needs. Great restaurant within walking distance, Coco Loco. We enjoyed massages on the patio of the home, went on a catamaran, rode ATV’s, and went out fishing. Everything was handled by Special Places. This was an amazing trip and the home was everything we expected and more!

It was even more beautiful than the pictures! Our family of eight had a wonderful time.

This house is even more beautiful than in the pictures! Everything was perfect and was all we had hoped it would be. The kitchen was amazing and the beach was gorgeous. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for the perfect beach vacation!

Beautiful house with great views!

My family just stayed a week at the Hacienda Yellow house on July 2-9!! The house was awesome and the views of the ocean and sunset did not disappoint. We were met at the house by Roy which made arrival easy and we were able to settle in quickly. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time. The views of the sunset each night made it hard to be anywhere else but on the back porch to take it all in!! I think for me the most enjoyable space was the outdoor patios so that you could see and hear the ocean. The staff that oversees the house are wonderful and we felt very safe the entire time. The maid arrived every morning, keeping us in fresh towels and just keeping the house looking great. She was a very sweet lady! We had two chefs come cook for us that Special Places recommended and they were fantastic. We also did several excursion that were recommended to us by Phem and those were great too. Overall this was a great family vacation and a beautiful place to stay. We were joined by another family on this trip but they had to stay up the hill (steep hill) due to the limit on people staying in the house. They were still able to join us at the house during the day and for dinners which was a treat. I highly recommend Hacienda Yellow house for those looking to see and explore Costa Rica's Flamingo Beach!!!

INCREDIBLE PROPERTY

I went to the house with a few friends for a week, we all had a wonderful time! Pulling up to the house, the front doors were open so that we could see through the house all the way to the beach! This view remains one of the best views I've ever seen, simply amazing! The house is superb, home to the nicest of everything from furniture to appliances. We made quite a few meals both inside the kitchen and on the outside grill and everything turned out great. The location of the property is also unique. Its far enough down the beach to where you feel like you are on your own isolated beach. However, a five minute walk up the beach you can get to a terrific restaurant for some excellent food and drinks! My friends and I had a wonderful time at the house, swimming in the pools, playing soccer on the lawns and of course being out on the wonderful beach! I would recommend this house to anyone looking for an incredible beach vacation! You will not be disappointed!

This place is simply phenomenal. The house is gorgeous. We loved the open spaces and the view of the ocean from almost every room....even the office. While I don't recommend working on vacation, set yourself up in the office in the morning and enjoy a spectacular space and view. The kitchen is a chef's dream and the outdoor grill is top of class. The house is right on the beach, which is spectacular. The beach reminded us of Dead Man's Bay on Peter Island in the BVI with it's rocky cliff surrounding and rock islands centered off the bay. We sat in the pool and on the back porch and watched the surfers during the day. It was wonderful. Walk down the beach to Coco Loco for dinner. We had the grilled lobster which was excellent. Marie's in town is a great place for breakfast. This place is top of the charts and we highly recommend it!

Amazing one week stay

I stayed at the house with a few friends for a week long vacation. The views were spectacular and the private beach was perfect for relaxing. However, the location was just close enough to town so we were not completely isolated for when we wanted to grab a bite to eat or have drinks at a nearby bar. We were also only about an hour away from a volcano where we went zip lining and horseback riding. Navigating the country can be difficult, but we were easily able to rent a van to bring us to and from the volcano so we didn't have to worry about traveling on our own. I had a blast during my trip and hope to have the chance to go back soon. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful location to relax.
