Pros: Excellent location near the central market, tons of cafes and supermarkets, and around a charming square. Property has high ceilings, excellent natural light and is cheerful, Nidia at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Code based entry excellent idea and does not require carryng around a card. What can be improved: The effective space is not very much, there's quite a bit of lost space due to long-ish passages and crannies; perhaps some furniture or storage could be added to those areas; a cutting board and some more utensils would be welcome for a group of 4. The stove top is difficult to use, and the microwave default setting is not very powerful; the signs on it are also difficult to follow; the microwave's internal plate gets extremely hot; perhaps best to paste a warning on the mw door.

Incredibly perfect.

I travel extensively for work and this is the nicest place I have stayed at to date. Candelaria10 is so well thought out and provides you with an apartment that feels more like home than a standard dull rental. The interior design is incredible, comfortable, clean and has all the amenities you need. The location is amazing as well, it is located around the perimeter of a square that has so much of that Spanish life and character, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right from your door. It's also quiet at night, even considering being located around the square, I always got a good nights sleep there, also since the bedding was so comfortable. I debated between staying by the beach or in old town, I am so glad I chose Candelaria, this place can't be beat! Aside from the incredible rooms, Candelaria also offers a spectacular roof top terrace that is available to all. From here you get a panoramic view of Cadiz, you can bathe in the sun, have lunch or watch the incredible sunset from here, it's quite nice. Also nice is the staff, they were all so friendly and so helpful throughout my stay. The owner of the building even walked me around town to show me places I asked about instead of drawing me a map, it felt like you had a friend there when you needed it, thanks George! I hope to visit Cadiz again in the future, and when I do, I won't look anywhere else to stay other than Candelaria10!

Beautiful, relaxing apartment.

My husband works abroad most weeks, so when he was working near Sevilla we took the chance to book a long weekend break in Cadiz and we are so glad we did, this place is a little gem! The apartment has been fully restored to its previous glory. Overlooking (in my opinion) the nicest park in Cadiz. It had everything you could require for a comfortable stay, short or long term. The owner was lovely and very helpful and allowed us to check out late. It was literally a few minutes walk to everywhere. During the siesta times, when the shops close, we headed to the apartments communal rooftop terrace and just admired the amazing views with some jamĂłn and cheese. On the Sunday it rained, but we were not bothered. It was lovely to relax in the apartment (something we never do!) with a glass of wine overlooking the park. We also headed back to the rooftop terrace after a late dinner to see the cathedral and town lit up at night and watch the lighthouse from the castle. We did plenty of historical sightseeing, walking and eating. Literally the restuarant next door is the best. Ending with a day of shopping before we left. The train is direct to either Sevilla and Madrid for flights, so was super easy to get too! We wouldnt definately return.

The apartments are located in a beautifully renovated historical building on Candelaria square. The building is conveniently located in the old town. Everything incl. the train station can be easily reached by foot. We had an apartment on the second floor with marvelously high ceilings. The rooms have a beautiful modern interior design and offer the standards of a five-star hotel. The rooftop terrace is free to use and offers fantastic views of CĂĄdiz, especially from the little tower that is typical for the buildings in the old town. Around the Appartement building you can find a plethora of restaurants and cafes. Ask the owners at check-in for recommendations. We can highly recommend Candelaria10 and look forward to come back again very soon.

Excellent stay in Cadiz

An excellent apartment right in the heart of old Cadiz. It had everything you’d need for a great stay and the owner was very helpful and informative. The only critique we could offer is the noise throughout the night caused by renovations to a nearby building. This was not any fault of the owner but noise was loud enough to disturb sleep. Hopefully this work won’t go on for a long period of time. Stay here when you go to Cádiz.

Such a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location in Cadiz. The apartments are absolutely immaculate with everything that you could need. Every detail has been thought of and the design and decor is just incredible. George was the perfect host; extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. He also gave us some great recommendations of places to visit and eat. We will 100% be back to stay at Candelaria 10!

I am not one for hyperbole, but the quality and the thought that has gone into creating this apart hotel is first rate. You are effectively getting the equivalent of a suite at a five star hotel, and more. The quality of the bed linen, pillows and one of the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep in, make for a relaxing night's sleep. There is ample wardrobe space in an spacious apartment that is ideally located in a lovely green square. The bathroom facilities are well thought out, and provide ample high quality towels which were changed during our seven day stay as was the bed linen. The view from the apartment is beautiful, and the location is very safe. Restaurants and bars are a walking distance away, but in no way interfered with our stay. The roof terrace has outstanding views, and with only five apartments in the block there is ample space for all quests to enjoy the sun loungers, and chairs. Georg and his team went above and beyond what one normally expects. We would have no hesitation booking again. An absolute gem. Mr S. Thompson

Amazing apartment! Candelaria 10!

Candelaria 10 is an amazing apartment in the centre of Cadiz, walkable to everywhere in Cadiz cadiz, we stayed in the luxurious well thought out 2 bedroom penthouse with access to the amazing roof top! Nidia our guest host manager took care of our every query and was so helpful with her knowledge and experience. We loved this apartment so much it was our haven after returning from walking all around cadiz all day and also was so central we could pop in in th middle of the day for a quick refresh and relax before going out to try all the wonderful restaurants bars and tapas We have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels and also apartments around the world, but can honestly say this was one of the best in Europe! Can't wait to return to candelaria 10 thank you so much for everything Nidia and e owners of this property who you can see have put a lot of thought into restoring it to its true form whilst updating it with all modern fixtures and fittings. Excellente P.s the laundry facility is so thoughtful especially when traveling with children etc, no need for detergent everything it automatically does it for you.
