I loved gow close the beach was. The sand on the beach was rougher than i expected and the beach was more steep than I expected. It was beautiful and i enjoyed being by the ocean. The facilities were clean and the pool was nice. We were able to have groceries delivered

Good stay here, the apartment felt dated but was clean and good size for two couples. Staff was really helpful. The pool could be bigger for how many apartments are available, but was still really nice. Good location to explore the immediate area and appreciate the free parking.

My family enjoyed our stay at Coral Sands. The location was great and the unit has everything we needed! Only 20 min Uber from downtown Cairns and airport. A number of restaurants within walking distance with great food and views of the beach. There was also a convenience store across the street. Lots of wildlife - wallabys, kookaburras, and bats - so cool!! We also booked the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail trip through them which was an awesome half day outing through the rainforest. Just a heads up, they do offer beach towels for a $5 rental. It was worth it for us not to pack bulky beach towels but just know there is a charge.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was excellent. Very clean, with a starter pack of consumables. The unit was on the ground floor, this was outstanding as our groups average age was 70+. Reception was staffed by a lovely, thoughtful lady. The room had everything imaginable for a travelling party. The extent of inclusions available to us made this the best unit we have used.

Lovely position right opposite beach and close to restaurants. Pool was great Staff were friendly Unit was very comfortable Had to pay $5 each for a pool towel plus $10 per hour for a late check out I get that but I’ve never encountered it before. All in all I highly recommend this place

Highly recommend the resort . The pool was lovely the rooms were clean we loved the fact the room had two bathrooms. The staff were very helpful, restaurants and shops were close by . The beach was across the road. The only down fall if you don’t like stairs ask for a ground floor apartment as there is no lifts to second and third floor. Apart from that we could not fault our stay at coral sands resort.

Ground floor .. too many stairs to and from the basement car park. I was fooled there. Remote control for aircond not working. Pull out the key to stop. The bedroom television that I specifically checked was available at this hotel wasn't programmed. Dodgy remote for main room prob just needed new batteries. Little bit grotty in the kitchen. Good furniture. Ok bed. Spacious 2 bedroom. Second room for kids ...as small twin single beds. Buy your own toilet paper etc - stayed for a week. Managers gave fresh towels all good and I asked for compensation for lack of TV for 3 days. Refunded $50 tick. Love that Cruising Car Hire are across the road. Always use them. I Get to TB x 4 times per year so getting familiar with accommodation etc. Forgot to mention - pool looked great. Maybe next time.

It felt like a home away from home. My family of 4 stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath unit with a full kitchen, in unit laundry, and living room. We had everything we needed for our 1 week stay. There is also parking right under the building which is so convenient, especially if it's raining. The grounds are well kept and the pool is the perfect size, with ample shade available all around the pool. There are also daily dinner time visits from kangaroos and wallabys looking for some fresh grass to eat. We could see the ocean from our interior, pool view, location and the beach was a 1 minute, if that walk away. The local bars and restaurants are all exceptional and well.worth a visit. I highly recommend this location and all it has to offer.
