Front desk was rude. Hotel dirty. Late night loudness in the hallways. Asked for a cot and was given a rickety old cot with a sheet. No pillows or blankets for cot. Very disappointed. Would never stay again.

Shuttle service was great. Very friendly helpful driver. Staff not so knowledgeable with parking over sized rental vehicle. Height restriction where the told me to park as i make sure to ask beforehand. Elevators not working. First day i tried the restaurant. Instead of putting me in the empty restaurant (with a view), I was ordered to sit in a crowded room by VLTs. Didn't get what i ordered. Never came back to check on me, while 4 staff seemed hanging out behind the bar. Food was okay, wouldn't pay $12 for a draft beer. Loved the layout of the rooms. Everything else was a solid 4 star.

The room was really clean and the hotel/area felt safe. It was at a very good location right off exit 258 from Deerfoot Trail so very easy to get around. Staff were helpful and friendly.

This doesn't feel like the "typical" Holiday Inn that you are probably used to. It feels like an older hotel that was converted into a Holiday Inn and just doesn't have the same vibes. There is no breakfast included and they don't offer the standard one that other locations have. There is a restaurant onsite that you can go to for breakfast/lunch/dinner and you can order room service for only lunch or dinner (but it costs you $6 delivery, plus a standard 15% gratuity ... so you might as well just go to the restaurant and pick it up). The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The elevators were broken while we stayed there, which was an incredible pain as we were on the top floor (5 stories). The hotel staff did bring the heavy luggage up the room upon arrival, which was good because I would NOT have been able to get it up there myself. Although being at the hotel for a week (business trip) it was really frustrating to take the stairs several times a day when I have mobility issues. And it made me not able to go to the restaurant, or pool/hot tub because of the added stress of only having the stairs as an option to get to them. The hotel isn't bad, but it just does not feel like a Holiday Inn, which is the brand name that I trust and wanted. I probably wouldn't stay here again for that reason.

There was some problems with the room at check-in but it was remedied within a short period of time. The staff at this location are excellent, helpful and attentive. Food and service at the restaurant was outstanding. I would certainly stay at this location again.
