Booked at 10 pm for the same day but the app booked for the next day by mistake. Hotel didn’t let us stay saying it was for tomorrow’s date. Wanted to cancel through Expedia, they didn’t accept. Hotel didn’t help. Had to travel home all night and also lost the money.

Pillow Problems in an upscale hotel

This is a very nice hotel. However, prior to my stay I requested soft pillows. When I arrived I again requested soft pillows. There were none to be had. The pillows on the bed were so hard it was difficult to sleep. Housekeeping brought two pillows to my room but they were no better. If you are a small person or a person who needs to sleep with a pillow between your knees, my advice is bring your pillows from home. Even my 6’2” husband complained about how thick and hard the pillows are. Second problem in my room was the safe. It was not working so service person tried several minutes to get it open. Finally it did open but was not usable during my extended stay. I felt uncomfortable leaving medication in the room all day, but no alternative was offered. The location was a bit far from downtown, over 4 miles from the convention I was attending. But Uber was easily available. Breakfast on the executive floor was nice. I also enjoyed grabbing a complementary hot tea before bedtime.

Lovely hotel

Check in was easy. Restaurant staff was awesome! I witnessed reception staff being quite curt with a customer. He had left his glasses behind and asked if they had them. She asked him what they looked like when they were clearly right behind her.
