Along with 3 restaurants, this smoke-free resort has a full-service spa and an indoor pool. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Other amenities include 2 bars/lounges, a fitness centre and a poolside bar.
Tenaya at Yosemite offers 352 accommodations with a safe and free newspapers. Pillowtop beds feature Egyptian cotton sheets and premium bedding. 40-inch LCD televisions come with premium satellite channels and pay-per-view films. Because Tenaya Lodge is a rural location guests should call the hotel if they need additional directions or information on how to get to the hotel. During winter months, chains may be necessary, even for four-wheel-drive vehicles.
Bears inhabit this area. Do not leave food or beverages (including water) in vehicles and heed all other warnings issued by the lodge.
Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Overall our stay was fine. The outside and grounds of the hotel are well kept. The major benefit was close proximity to Yosemite NP. The facility is fine, but would not consider it 4 stars. We found a mouse in our room at 10p one evening and asked to change rooms. We were provided a new room and advised it would “be taken care of” but have not received any refund for the inconvenience. The restaurants leave alot to be desired. The beds need updating. I highly recommend just eating in the park and staying in the park if able.

Tenaya is a beautiful facility with convenient access to Yosemite and other activities to keep everyone entertained. All the staff were friendly and helpful. All of our multigenerational family had a wonderful time.

Such an amazing experience we had at the lodge, everyone was happy to help us. So easy to get into the park it’s really close to the nation park. I would definitely go back and stay there for a couple night if I had the chance.
