Decent price for the location, not a lot of frills or thrills just a clean room and comfortable beds. Very simple rooms with not a lot of furniture or extras. Location is ideal to walk everywhere near the shops and harbor and pier. They should add that their pool is heated because we would have brought Boardshorts had it been advertised.

The rooms are very bare. There are just 2 chairs and not even a table to put a coffee cup or any bags etc. you must use the floor. There is barely any storage. The night stand is tiny and no outlets nearby to charge devices. The outside is charming but really sad once inside the room. The location is nice and staff was good. The weekend rates are high and should deliver better.

The Franciscan was such a charming stay. It was located centrally in the west beach area so it was easy to walk to The Funk Zone, the water, and along State St. We stayed in a deluxe king bed room and it was spacious, clean, and had a fridge and microwave which we needed for all of our leftovers from the weekend. The staff were friendly and we could have even borrowed the bikes on the property to bike around the city. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The room looked updated pretty recently, and was clean. The staff was nice. We didnt get to enjoy the pool or spa due to rain. We had breakfast one morning. They had basic stuff, eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, cereal, coffee etc... The only complaint I would mention is the door latch system. If i was traveling by myself, I wouldn't feel safe. There needs to be a secondary latch high up on the door. Our toddler could also open the locked door so easily and we had no way of locking it so she couldnt open it. We had to rig up something to keep it locked. Its definitely a concern.
