Our stay at this house was a great time! The house was perfectly decorated , well stocked with whatever you need , the beds were comfortable and the location is perfect to many great activities you may want to do. Definitely will stay here again next year as we come back every year!!
We all felt at home here with plenty of room. Three bedrooms and 2 baths. This home is on the very road that leads to Palmyra and LDS church sites...10 miles away. Owner was very responsive.
This is a lovely home with a nice patio and beautifully maintained yard. The kitchen had everything we needed for a two-night stay. Bedrooms were large, baths very clean. We enjoyed our stay and will return if we make another trip to the Finger Lakes region!
The property was as described as far as rooms and layout. The family room/kitchen area was spacious although we didn't really spend time in the home as we were in town for our daughter's rehearsal and wedding at sonnenberg gardens. We just needed a place to shower and lay our heads down for a good night sleep. We did notice that there was not a sidewalk leading to the front porch. There should be a marker of some sort in front yard( for guests arriving at night to see the property and recognize it. We liked the dinosaur the neighbor has for example. Something as simple as a glow in dark rock with address on it perhaps. We did not get an early check in as we wanted and needed. We also was a little set off having the lawn mowed as we were getting dressed to leave for the rehearsal dinner with our stuff inside. This should have been done earlier in our opinion especially if we could not get in early. The fridge came in handy for the refrigeration of products that we needed for breakfast to go. The master bath shower needs some work as the door sticks and it feels like its coming off. The hostess supplied shampoo and conditioner but we did not use them as we had brought our own from home. The only negative was that there was not enough towels for each guest for 2 days. We had to reuse the towels. I also would like to see blinds placed on the windows and not just curtains. This place could use some improvements in our opinion and was more expensive for what you got.
We loved the location of the property for easy access to the event we were attending. The beds were comfortable, the home was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and it was quiet at night. We had the privacy we needed with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 4 adults and an infant.Cheryl was available for questions if we had any and made sure we had what we needed. The home isnât on the lake but is right outside Canandaigua and a quick drive into town.We enjoyed our weekend stay and recommend the charmer as a cute getaway place.
We enjoyed our stay-great location if seeing the historic sites in Palmyra. Just about 15 minutes away. Canadaigua is a very cute town as well and we loved walking by the boat houses on the city pier and driving by the Victorian homes. We came with our teenagers and a friend and the house worked great.
The home was spacious and comfortable and we stayed warm through the freezing nights. The location was convenient to activities and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We enjoyed our time here.
We had a great experience. The property manager was very helpful and communicative. The house was clean. Bedrooms were spacious. My only suggestion was more light. There were lamps in all the living spaces but it didn't cast enough overall light. I would definitely stay here again, though.
Cheryl is an attentive and communicative host. Check-in was easy and we had a nice time staying at the house - it was comfortable and perfect for our needs!
