Stayed for 3 nights and would have liked to have stayed longer. Room was very functional, nice and modern and clean. I could imagine being able to stay here for a prolonged stay and being very comfortable. Full size fridge and cooking options with microwave and cooktop made saving money on meals an excellent option. Coles supermarket within walking distance nearby made foor convenience too. When I return to Canberra I would definitely stay here again.

Room shower facilities where worn out including mixer and shower head, Sauna not working for some reason, had to pre book parking which was not aware of 'changed policy' apparently so had to park off site, only a 5 minute walk. Showers in pool gym area where slow to drain water away suggest full of hair, so you had to stand in cold water to shower before entering pool area. I like the place, but these things should be looked into.

Short business trip to Canberra

Excellent location as only a few minutes walk to the convention centre. Staff were excellent in every respect. Only downer was still a very noisy site despite being on the 14th floor and woke up at 6am to a huge crane outside the apartment on the last morning. Other than that this is a top location for anyone thinking of staying in Canberra CBD

I stayed for two nights in a “1 bedroom LUXURY suite”. When I arrived, I found my “luxury” suite’s balcony opened onto the multi story carpark next door - this was my view. Not only was it ugly, it felt (as a solo woman traveller) very unsafe. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the showerhead didn’t flow fully. The towels were thin and scratchy. The mattress was very comfortable, however the bedlinen was too light for a Canberra winter and there were no additional blankets in the cupboard. The TV only offered Free To Air channels, despite claiming to have Netflix and Prime. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, and the appliances were all very convenient. However, the suite was significantly inferior to advertised images, to the point that I doubt the same level of accommodation is used in advertising. I have no idea what element of the suite Meriton consider to be “luxury”. Would I stay at Meriton Canberra again? Absolutely not. Would I stay at a Meriton property again? Unlikely.
