Family Vacation

Great stay! Service was good, specialty restaraunts particularly LaVista were great. The buffet was okay, could always find something to eat. We had a Master suite for 6 people and it was very comfortable. The third room with the 2 double beds does not have it's own bathroom and is 2 steps down from the rest of the area which is not clear on the website. Our housekeeper Maja did a great job and Carlos at guest service helped us rent a car to do some sightseeing.

The poolside burgers and fries arec the only good food at this place. There is no variety to the food, and what food is served is not that good. The music was boring and homemade, almost elevator music. The pool is micro-scopic (very small). The first room was also very small, so we had to pay extra for a half-decient room. The staff were all fantastic and knew us by name.

Everyone at Cancun Bay was very friendly, polite and helpful. Leo at the reception area, Rafaela kept our room clean, Anahi and Enrique the waitresses by the pool were on top of keeping us hydrated. Dayana and Dreidis kept us very busy with the games and Zumba. The entertainment was good. I’m definitely coming back! I only wished they had guacamole and chip!!

I didn't realise all inclusive means loud "wedding disco bangers' all the time. Ymca, Grease, Saturday night fever, I will Survive, etc, played more than once a day each from 11-5 then again from about 8. Relentless. Apart from that, lovely spot. We absolutely loved our stay here. It was very clean, it was small so we got to know everyone and we felt very safe, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were upgraded ro an ocean view room on our second day. The food was good, but not a lot of options. One or two restaurants open each night. The beach was more of a marina. I cannot begin to speak positively enough about the staff. They were so kind and patient and loved helping us understand their culture and language. Special shout out to David (server) and Alejandro (Alex - concierge). If we are ever back in Cancun, we would return!

Staff is amazing very friendly. Food was excellent. Very healthy and fresh. Facility was very clean. Rooms are very comfortable. my sister and I miss the green juice. They have very fun activities.. Karaoke dance parties, bingo volleyball. Favorite things were hammocks on the beach. The staff was right there with frozen drinks or whatever your needs were.

Staff was awesome! The site advertised a hot tub and they didn’t have one. Also they advertised yoga and only had 1 stretching class for 20 minutes in one week. They advertised 5 restaurants but only had 3. Everything shuts down at 10:00pm- no entertainment or alcohol after 10pm

For the most part, the staff was approachable and understanding, but there were a few members at times who seemed bothered to be asked questions. As for the food - it was eatable. But not many regular options, other than rotating themed dishes each night. However, mid way through our stay, the main dining area was closed down to allow construction work to occur. As a result, the restful relaxation was replaced by either the blasting speaker by the beachside pool, or the buzzing of tile saws or jackhammers by the inner pool. I wish i was informed about the planned work. I may have, planned a more expensive getaway for the quiet time. In all fairness, we did have quiet time at least at the beginning of our week and the end of our stay - but still...) I feel a discount toward future stay is warrented for the missed enjoyment of all the have to offer. Oh yes, one last thing... the hot tub is better described as a whirlpool. Jets are present - but the heat is not. At least we had sun and warmth for the duration!

Many inconsistancies with what was described in ad. Renovations were noisy and created changes in eating locations creating cramped. Language was a problem. English is not communicated well when trying to get assistance. For seniors the mutiple up and down steps created tripping hazards. We enjoyed ourseleves but heard complaints from many others.
