This is a resort that mostly caters to Mexican families with young children or at least that appears to be the preferred demographic. If you are looking to have fun at your resort go elsewhere. There are a lot of rules and employees roaming around and the place is small enough that you will likely be scolded for something or other. Otherwise, the food was edible. The palm trees and shade offered on the beach are great. The room was pretty good too.

Good place for family. Wish there was more activities to do, felt bored during the day. Good place for people that enjoy reading. I did not like that Bluetooth speakers are prohibited even though my music was low volume. Very small gym. Very limited spots to sit down at tables outside. Only tables they had were for ordering food. Pizza staff and bartenders were awesome. They shut down everything at 11pm.

A PREVIOUS Gem in the hotel zone!!! I love this hotel great drinks and food! Ive been in big name all inclusive resorts but this is a hidden gem in between the big hotel chain! Best location to get into the tourist spots!love this place!

I've been to Cancun 5 times, and this has been the worst visit of all. I am not a complainer, but I might as well have vacationed at a construction site. Room service was terrible. One day they even took the tip and never made up the room. Other days, no coffee, no water, or no cups. The rooms need major updates to say the least. Food was just average and pretty much the same thing every day. Drinks at the bar were terrible. If you wanted something better, you had to pay for it. So much for all inclusive. At the pool and the beach there wasn't enough lounge chairs to sit for everyone at the hotel. If you wanted shade in a cabana with bar service, you had to pay extra. All other hotels I have stayed at in the past, that was included. There was no music at the pool, nor any kind of entertainment worth going to. They gave you pretty much the least they could get away with. If you want my advice, pay a little extra, and stay at another resort.

A lot of the property is under renovation and was not noted on the website. Our both rooms were not like the pictures. One room sliding door didn’t lock, the safe didn’t lock, the toilet seat was broken. The other room had a big metal piece in front of the sliding door which was such an inconvenience as you walk out to your swim up. All in all the place has really let it self go. We had only came back after loving it 5 years ago. We definitely will not be going back. Also when booking through Expedia please screen shot your reservation as they told us we didn’t book our rooms “correctly” luckily I had the screen shot from Expedia and was able to prove I had booked 2 swim up rooms.

It was my first alone trip to Cancun 14-21 of March 2025! And I'm very grateful all the staff Flamingo hotel! Especially I appreciate concierge guy Camillo! Thank you so much, when I should check in for my returning flight and my phone was broken, he not only helped to do it and printed my boarding pass!!! I like everything during my stay in Flamingo! I was surprised when because of delay with my room check in, they gave me better room with oceanview without any additional payments and also thank you for surprise for my birthday and first vacation! Housekeeping do their hard work really well! I do recommend this hotel for your vacation! The beach is awesome even with some seaweeds after the storm, huge shells) The food is tasty, not so many variety,but I love it. Albatros restaurant is so nice for breakfast (hot chocolate my love) with seaview outside and also with reservation for a dinner (risotto and fish was so yammy) and a LA carte menu-seafoods! Thank you!!!! I'll return definitely!

this property has to be my favorite all inclusive beachfront experience. It has such a wonderful beachfront area with plenty of palm trees and lounge chairs. The water is incredible. Staff is very kind. Top shelf drinks. Food was great.

Very rude staff. Especially to all Americans that stay there. Food was horrible. Only one buffet and one restaurant on site. You need to make reservations at restaurant 2 days in advance and we were not notified of that before arriving. Luckily we only stayed for 2 nights.
