The rooms were okay, but there was a smell in the washroom, and basic items weren't included, despite being requested from the front desk. The air conditioner was not as great either, and it was hot. The rooms were okay, but there was a constant smell in the washroom, and some basic items weren’t provided even after asking the front desk several times. The air conditioner also didn’t work well, and the room was uncomfortably hot. The worst part was the scammy “membership.” The staff pushes and practically forces you to buy an overpriced membership in exchange for a $30 discount and promises of huge savings on excursions like Chichén Itzá and other tours in Mexico. In reality, those “discounted” prices were 2–3 times more expensive than what we found elsewhere, and the membership presentation was just a useless 3–4 hour lecture. I also want to mention that Hernan, one of the managers, was very rude and did not pay us the full amount we were promised after attending the membership lecture. Overall, I would not recommend staying here or getting involved in their membership program – it’s a waste of time, and they put a lot of pressure on you to buy it.

Check in took 1 hour and half horrible service , my room was switched that was booked 7 months in advance thy said because of rain damaged but members have 1st priority, the rooms beds are horrendous extremely hard , the food was a hit or miss, over all worse hotel i have ever stayed in cancun do not go based off the pictures advertised , i guess its a cheap hotel you get what you pay for

I gave 1 star due to receptionist staff and manager making disappointed on first day arriving and ruined all our vacation. I booked park royal beach Cancun on Expedia and Expedia app child age is 0 to 17. So my older kid is only 13 years old, so I booked with 3 adults and one child. The last minute my another son wants to go with us then no time to change our reservation on Expedia. When we arrived on hotel and we provided everyone passport and the staff told that they count over 12 years old with adult price and added the charge $149 per day in same room. I keep trying to explain that we booked Expedia with child limit was 0 to 17 years old. Manager guy told me that this is their hotel rule, so no adjustment for my kids for child fee and only extra charge for adult fee for my 13 years old kid. My question if if they can’t clearly with third party like Expedia or booking , the customer doesn’t know and booked. Then we knew about the child limit is 0 to 12 years and too late to cancel and book another more suitable price other hotel. If we didn’t pay for extra charge child with adult fee, we do not have room key and nobody care the customers to making satisfaction. It was really disappointed. I planed my trip for 5 months ago , I knew about it when we arrived to hotel and no more choice other plan. If I knew about it, I will be cancelled before my trip and booked another hotel with more reasonable price. Now ruin my entire trip and pay extra charge +$900 for 6 days stay .

If you are a youthful adult looking to have a good time, night life etc don’t come here. This is a family friendly hotel with activities mainly for kids. Pros location of this hotel was excellent the beach plus it’s right across from this huge luxury mall that has everything you can think off plus fine dining beautiful restaurants. Cons - the food is not the best this is all inclusive and I never eat at the property all three nights I went across to the restaurants to eat during the day we had excursions where we had our lunch. I was looking forward to leaving the hotel every day for activities. - this is for families, if that’s your vibe go ahead. - -

The staff and the beach made this the trip the most enjoyable. We had an amazing experience at this resort mostly because of the staff. The waiters: Gustavo, Felix, Manuel and captain Miguel at the Veranda made meals something to look forward to and at the Coco pool bar: Yolanda and Arturo were on the ball keeping our drinks flowing for 10 days straight. We hugged and laughed together and said our goodbyes and we would go back just because of them. However, the beds are seriously horrible and dished that I woke up bruised on my hips and my shoulders were so sore I had to get a massage halfway through our stay. The power went out for almost 24 hours and they didn’t offer any kind of light for the evening or a discount. Tho we didn’t ask for one I feel they could’ve at least offered flashlights. The activities and dances etc were great but the roof top bar was seriously lacking. I expected an actual bar not a rooftop lobby. Would we choose this resort next time?…. No I would be willing to spend a little more for the quality of the rooms. The couches were not clean and stained, we had to use the L shaped couch in the family suite for a family of 5 and had to go request bedding for our kids which we didn’t receive 2 sheets only one for one kid. And one blanket. It’s a good thing we found a spare in the closet. It took 3 days before room service left enough bedding and we tipped the house cleaners daily. The staff are the only thing about that resort that make it’s enjoyable.

We came to Cancun to celebrate our anniversary. Carlos and Julie at the concierge guest services went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. The personal touches such as chocolate covered strawberries and champagne as well as a private beach cabana made our celebration unforgettable. The waiter staff were exceptional especially Felix and Unvaldo in the Veranda. All of the bartenders were awesome. The beach was beautiful. Keep in mind this is a family resort as there were a lot of kids. You could hear the road noise sometimes from our room. The food was alright. We never made it to the other restaurants as reservations were not available. The system to make reservations was not great and we were not able to experience the dining other than buffet. othallbeautifulaingadaee
