The receptionist at check-in was not nice at all. She forgot to give us towels cards and we had to find that out on the pool when the kids were cold and needed towels. She didn't provide any information whatsoever about the hotel amenities; food, locations, services provided - nothing. The food and beverage quality is average at best. The hotel is old with poor maintenance. I'd never come back again and don't recommend - inefficient use of money.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. No advance booking required to visit the hotel restaurants. The food was varied: mussels, shrimp, all kinds of meat, fruit, and desserts were always available—everything was very tasty. Clean beach. Beautiful sea, no seaweed, rocks, or boulders. There are a few minor drawbacks: only 5 of the 6 elevators work, the drain in the shower does not work well, and the sliding doors to the balcony in the room do not close properly. But these are minor details that did not affect the quality of our vacation!

Been at other all inclusive resorts, the service by the pool lacked service. The cafe, lacked staff, one person making coffee, serving ice cream. For a place this big, it needs more staff. The drinks at the pool too, it seemed like there was only one person giving out drinks the whole time. The fridge on our room wasn’t working, the lighting in the rooms needs to be a bit brighter. The sewer system in the shower doesn’t go down fast enough. Was content with the hotel, might come back. Walking out to the street and back to the lobby feels like a marathon!

Upon check-in, there was no clear guidance on how to navigate the resort-not even which restaurants were open to get a bite to eat. We checked in at 10:00 pm. Many of the restaurants were closed or near closing so our options were very limited. We had a problem with the drink cooler and hot water temperature in the shower-which wasn’t addressed until the next morning. While the property seems to have been renovated, the furniture in the rooms are not upgraded.

It was a terrible experience at the restaurant Big Ben. They don’t take reservations — you just walk in — and there was a long waiting list. The hostess told us it would be a 1 hour and 30 minute wait, but it ended up being 2 hours and 30 minutes. When they finally sat us, the waiter rushed us to order. I asked for a glass of wine, and they brought me an empty glass. They had also run out of desserts.

We spent one week here and it was mostly cold so we were wishing there were more options indoors. We had a king bed with the bunkbeds facing a vacant property with a good sideways ocean view and my mother and sister had a gorgeous full beachfront view in a king room with outdoor hottub (which is misleading as it only had cold-water which was tinted brown.) Both rooms were great and very clean. Very Little musty smell which is typical we've found over the years and the service team restocked the mini fridge daily. The large buffet, the Food Gallery is open for breakfast and lunch ONLY and we had Roberto most days for breakfast and Fernando for lunch. They were both AMAZING and kept the champagne and tequila flowing, water full, and plates cleared. The days they had off however, we couldn't even get water, finishing our meals before a waiter even came over which was very frustrating. We asked for water and it seemed like we weren't in the right sections to be helped. Armando was the poolside server and WOW was he AWESOME! He and Roberto truly made our vacation as highlights when we watched more clouds and rain blow by. He found us when we changed pools to do music trivia, always with perfect timing and surprises. I can't say enough about these two who are so nice as well, chatting and giving suggestions. Pedro gave my son 1 on 1 lessons in water volleyball and water polo when it was too cold for anyone else to get in the pool and was super patient. He greeted us daily and offer
