We booked this all inclusive resort because the review score was 8.8 but it did not meet my expectation. Limited choices of food in buffet area compared to other all inclusive resorts we’ve been too. The only air conditioned area is the room and hallway. So I’m sweating while eating especially in buffet area. The lobby needs improvement. Limited toys in play area and limited activities for toddlers less than 4 years old. Only one main pool and one children’s pool. The staff are nice and our room is clean that’s one advantage.

Amazing resort! On the more family friendly side, so if you are all adults looking for a more party scene I would look else where. I loved my stay at Sunscape Cancun! The service was amazing and everyone was more than hospitable. I would highly recommend this property especially for the amazing staff. I had a family member who got sick during our stay, and the staff made sure to answer all our questions, check in with us, change all of our sheets when we asked, and went even farther out of their way to leave us chocolate covered strawberries in our room with a "get well soon" message! Everyone was so sweet and we had a great time singing karaoke, relaxing and eating on the beach, and spending time at the resort.

The property is fairly nice, well managed and maintained and clean. The staff works tirelessly to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. My family of four stayed 5 days and we enjoyed our experience, especially the hospitality. We love the variety of food options, the entertainment, and the beach. We also like that it is in walking distance to other attractions. We love the staff at Sunscape and would like to give a special shoutout to Dulce, Heber, Abel, and Adan in the buffet restaurant and Ofcourse Diego in the front. We will definitely stay at Sunscape again.

This was our very first time staying at an all-inclusive, so we weren’t too sure what to expect. I’d give our stay 3-3.5/5 stars. The staff was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and helpful, and we felt safe the entire time. I did not like how the Playa company would hound you in the lobby. We got stopped our very first day there and felt like we couldn’t get away. They said we paid more by booking with Expedia and to use their website next time, but we had an entire banner on our room door that said Expedia preferred guest. The entire lobby and restaurants are not inside, and there is no central air conditioning. The heat was stifling some days and it made us not want to spend time around the common areas of the hotel. Luckily, the rooms were nice and cool but they are in desperate need of an upgrade. They smell like stale air and our room was right by an elevator. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every conversation that was being had outside. It made it difficult to sleep. The food was just okay, and you really get what you pay for. Nothing stood out to me. Similarly, any drinks we had were just okay at best. This is not a place to go if you want to spend time relaxing outside by the pool. They play loud music and have entertainment and spa staff walking around constantly to get you to participate or pay for massage services. We had a fine time, but if I were to go back to Cancun, I would consider staying elsewhere and paying more.
