Everything was pretty good from the ease of check in and staffs and cleanliness and nice room. However, the ceiling is so thin. We could hear everything from the room above and below. Unluckily our neighbors on the top were late to sleep and early to rise, they were waking around at all hours. The room and location was nice though. But we will not stay there again because of the structure of the building.

We have visited Cannon Beach for a few years and usually stay at a rental house vs a hotel, this was far superior, the beach access, the views and service will ensure we visit Surfsand resort as soon as possible! I guarantee you will love it!

Great views, friendly staff. Room had some wear & tear - screen door wouldn’t close, bowing floor in bathroom. The bathroom was upgraded & had a great shower & tub. Expedia needs to stop advertising the free drinks as a VIP benefit- everyone checking in gets these . I would stay here again but would not pay what I did - was over priced

Wonderful property on the beach and walkable to downtown area of shops and restaurants. Spacious, very clean rooms. Comfortable beds, quiet. Lobby offered afternoon fresh baked cookies and variety of taffy - nice treat! Friendly staff. Highly recommend this property.

Stunning place! We really enjoyed our time there. Now for some 1st world whining. I booked months ago a king studio ocean view for our 30yr anniversary. Checking in I see my rm is not exactly on the ocean. Staff tells me Expedia does not differentiate between ocean view and oceanfront. They tried to switch us but they were booked solid and gave us a $100 bottle of champagne as a token. So if your hearts set on a specific rm do yourself a favour and call the hotel to ensure you’re getting what you want.

Gorgeous oceanfront unit with beautiful views of Haystack Rock. The bonfires at night on the beach were amazing with s’mores. Comfortable bedding and convenient and walkable to most anything in Cannon Beach. Would stay here again.

I couldn’t say enough nice things about this resort.the room was beautiful and so accommodating. The bathroom was large with the nicest towels and great shower and to. So many amenities, drinks at check in, hot cookies in the afternoon, complimentary kites, free shuttle and bonfire! The location was amazing.
