We stayed in the Morty cabin and it was exactly as described. The cabin was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The seven pickleball courts were great and we had a good time with the glow in the dark pickleball. Joyce and Brent were kind and very attentive!

Amazing Property - Perfect Stay

Easy to access and spot on to the listing. Beautiful property that felt tucked away without having to be miles down a dirt road. Would recommend this one to anybody looking for a spot to unwind. All of the small notes to make it feel homey and warm were noticed the second we walked through the door! Thanks for having us, will definitely be back!

A homey environment for a weekend retreat

My dog and I enjoyed our stay while in town for an event. Lots of beautiful hiking options, local restaurants, and friendly locals to make our stay at Morty Hideaway the perfect weekend getaway. The property is welcoming, just as described, and in a central and easily accessible part of town. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

Beautiful Home Away From Home

The property was spectacular! Clean, updated, and the communication with the owners was quick and helpful. I loved the property and the location. We were a few minutes from our concert at White Water Ampitheatre. The property was secure and safe. Loved that they had a washer and dryer in the unit. We stayed the weekend and it was nice to have the amenities to wash our wet clothes and the stuff we brought prior to returning to our work week. Would highly recommend this listing for your getaway.

Great location

Great location and space for a quick stay. Close to canyon lake marina, tubing and breakfast. Very clean inside but had an odor. Needs an additional mirror outside of the bathroom. Additional towel hooks and a shelf in the shower would have been helpful. The patio needed to be swept and more comfortable chairs to sit outside. You have to park further away so you have to carry your things back and forth. Mattress isn’t the most comfortable but okay. Refrigerator doors on backwards. Again overall good spot and nice people. For $100 or less a night we would stay again.

This was our first experience with VRBO, and we were completely pleased. The Tiny Home was exactly what we needed -- it was quiet, clean, well-appointed, and close to attractions and conveniences. The furnishings and appliances were excellent; we most appreciated having laundry facilities in the home and a very comfortable mattress. Our host was unobtrusive, but handy when we had a question. We would stay here again without giving a thought to anywhere else.

Very pet friendly

Laird’s hideaway was perfect for our needs. Comfortable. Surprisingly roomy, big enough for us to have a Thanksgiving lunch for five people. It’s best for short stays, though. There’s no designated space for luggage and hanging clothes.

All you need for a relaxing get a way

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Laird’s Hideaway in Morty’s Cabin. Host gave great suggestions about things we were interested in doing. The cabin was as pictured and extremely clean. Huge bonus was its dog friendly, even pup bowls inside. Location was great and close to the lake. Also easy to get to Gruene, & New Braunfels.

Wonderful cabin

We stayed here for about a week to attend a wedding and visit with family and friends. The owners were very nice and accommodating for us. We have two larger dogs and they had plenty of space. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again!

Canyon Lake Getaway

Great location just down the road from Whitewater Amphitheater, the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was awesome. The property contains a main house and 3 tiny houses. Gated, dedicated parking and nice landscaping and garden. We felt very much off to ourselves. Perfect amount of privacy and a common area if you want to meet and greet. Front porch was nice and the interior had everything you could need. Comfortable bed, nice sitting area and really nice kitchen and bathroom shower! Loft space up top. We’d like to go back for another stay!

Perfect Stay - Thank you Lauren!!

Attended a wedding in the area. This Tiny Home experience could not have been more perfect. The property feels peaceful/quiet and secluded even though it is just off a busy main road. The home is detached with a huge porch and well-stocked. It is a convenient location in close proximity to all activities. We brought two small dogs and they LOVED it! They were able to explore the grounds in safety. Lauren, the owner, greeted me and offered to supply a microwave for heating water. Even though heating water on the stovetop worked perfectly fine, it was nice that Lauren offered mid-stay. I would definitely like to stay here again if travels bring me to the area. Kiddos would love sleeping in the loft!!

Awesome cabin and location!

Awesome property close to the Canyon Lake dam and water. The house was very clean and had awesome cooking materials and grill. The hosts were very accommodating and made the place feel like home. I highly recommend and would be happy to return in the future.

Absolutely perfect!

This place is absolutely perfect and serene. It's less then 5 minutes away from the lake! The place was spotless when we got here and had many amenities. The beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed their outdoor grilling area. The hosts were super accommodating and responsive. I would stay here again and recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
