A long day of travel, unexpected delays and then suddenly, in the simple turning of a “key”, we entered “Paradise”…(appropriately named, BTW!).
A beautiful home with so many special touches that surprise and make you wonder who put all this together? I traveled with family and we had a list of things the 4 of us wanted to see/do while in Cape Coral. However, we soon found that morning coffee on the dock, sunrise, watching pelicans, and sometimes a morning dolphin were a thrill and so relaxing. The pool beckoned and we did enjoy it! Lots of pool toys as advertised. The Tiki Hut was captivating. A tropical drink in hand and, once again, who is the genius behind this decor? So much fun and laughter. Listening to old rock, some Jimmy Buffet, and seeing who could swing that little metal ring-on-a-string to land exactly on the hook!
Ok, so we did try to see some sights, but Paradise called. Fire up the gas grill and instant “Cheeseburger in Paradise”. The evenings were enchantment in Paradise as the tiki torches lit up and the moon rose. The silhouette of the owner’s boat developed, we turned the pool light on and suddenly a new ambiance! (and usually a cool breeze!)
Inside the home is, well, beautiful and such unique aquatic themes! I loved sitting in the conversation pit, turned the candles on and just took it all in.
Dinners out were ALL WONDERFUL: Prime 239 Steakhouse, Fish Tale Grill (we also bought fresh Grouper at their store and grilled next day!). Be amazed!
