The house was spacious and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet, which was exactly what we needed after our days at Disney. The lanai was large and allowed us to still remain outdoors despite some thunder storms that rolled in and we appreciated the grill there for use. and yes, there are alligators in that pond. It's proximately to shops, restaurants, beaches and entertainment were close, but no so close that you couldn't enjoy your privacy and relax. Just a short drive away. The house, property, pool, neighborhood were all great but there were a few slight negatives to the stay. First, the mattress in the master bedroom was one of the worst I've ever attempted to sleep on.. A complete marshmallow that offered no support at all. Second was/is the looming charges for the electricity usage. I've stayed in dozens of rental properties but this is the first that charged extra for usage.. I found myself chasing my children around worrying about lights being left on.. Just add it into the price of the daily rate.. It would make the stay more enjoyable. Lastly, the lights over the lanai are like the blazing sun when turned on at night. A dimmer on that switch would make being outdoors at night without having to wear sunglasses achievable (slightly exaggerating but they were still far too bright). Despite these, I would absolutely consider renting this property again.
