This wasn’t the home we stayed in. We stayed at southern comfort. This home we had reserved first but 2 weeks before departure the reservation was cancelled. Roelens did a great job and sent me other options that fit my wants and needs. The home we stayed in was nice. It smelled like the precious tenants had a seafood party, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, food stuck on silverwear. The pool safety net was broke. Few other minor issues but overall it was a quiet neighborhood, warm pool and comfy beds. We all had a blast!! I addressed the issues with roelens and they were quick to resolve whatever we needed. Since our initial reservation was canceled I did expect some sort of compensation, such as an early check in. That was not granted. Which is fine, if the house wasn’t ready, however as long as it took to have the home ready I expected it to be cleaner smelling and clean dishes. I had asked for a late check out in return. Received a text saying late check out was available. Awesome. When I responded and automated reply came saying a late check out may not be available. Received confusing messages regarding the house that was canceled and the house we actually stayed in. Eventually found out The late check out was available at no cost which was a nice gesture however it was sent pretty close to check out time so we were already packed and ready to leave. Again no issues. My only complaint would be the room set up for kids is directly above the primary master room.

Plenty of sun

Property was clean and we were contacted before check in and provided more information about the property. Shortly after check in the lock malfunctioned on the door and a representative was there within 10 minutes and the issue was resolved. We were contacted at least twice during our stay to see if we needed anything. They were more helpful than any other party that we have rented from before.

Sky palms villa

The house was spotless inside. I was very disappointed with the outside amenities when I arrived. The hot tub smelled and had green water, with brown residue around the edge. It was unusable for a couple days. The pool had beer caps at the bottom of the pool. There was trash in the yard. One of the kayaks was floating in the canal, with the paddle broken. We didn’t have paddles, so we were never able to kayak.

The property was amazing.

There was a plumbing issues. The company, however, was so responsive. They worked quickly to resolve and when they couldn’t they found us another amazing place to stay. Would always book through this company!

Perfect vacation

The house was perfect. In a great location. We saw Dolphins one afternoon in the canal which was amazing. Lanai was so great and pool and spa relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Good location, bad renter

The home is located in a relatively good location and has reasonable amenities. The property is dated and in need of an upgrade. There are four TVs and only local channels available. Two TV's have no connections and missing remotes, including for the garage. Day one we informed the property manager about the torn net over the pool enclosure and were told would be fixed the next day. Six days later when we left it was still not fixed. This allowed all kinds of bug, bees, and wasps into the enclosure. In the interim, when we used the pool my wife was bitten by a wasp that entered the enclosure. We tried to remove the wasps and bugs but they returned. Eventually it became a health and safety issue, and as a result, we could not use the pool. We were in communication with the management company every day by phone and emails. We were told they don't control the repair service provider and could do little else. Another issue was a bunch of dead cockroached and ants in the house when we arrived, which we had to clean up. It's as though the house was not checked before our arrival to make sure it was clean. The ants were a constant problem throughout our stay including in the bathroom and showers. To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement. We would personally not rent this property or any property managed by the property manager. There was no attempt to address the issues. We paid a lot of money to stay at this property and not be able to enjoy it fully is a shame and all because the renter failed or decided not to address basic issues.

Spacious and clean

We recently vacationed in the Fort Meyers area and spent the week at Sky Palms Villa. The home was extremely clean and spacious in a very quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a family of four. It is within close proximity to area beaches and attractions to include Sanibel and Fort Meyers. The only recommendation I would have is to plan sightseeing and adventures around peak traffic times in the AM or PM if you're leaving Cape Coral. The main bridge leading to and from Cape Coral can get quite backed up (particularly if there is a crash). Other than that we had an absolute blast and would highly recommend a home like this one in lieu of paying double the price to stay in a condo right on the beach.

Beautiful Vacation Home

This property is beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained. The pool and hot tub were a highlight of the property. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed being able to cook while we were there. The property management staff was friendly and very responsive to questions. We enjoyed our stay here.

Springbreak Vacation

The property was very clean and very well maintained. The pool and hot tub were excellent to use. The house was very spacious and accommodated the 7 of us quite well. The house is in a quiet, residential neighborhood located one street over from a park. The actual distance is about a running/walking mile away. The park is a great place to walk/run while you are there. Our only real complaint was the cost of the house which we agreed to when we reserved it. Since our in laws agreed to pay most of it, we agreed. This site won’t allow me to say how much but it was a premium price in our opinion, probably due to it being springbreak.. Also be prepared to pay an outlandish electric bill while you are there. For the ten days we rented the place we were billed an additional $182.00 for electricity. Realize this was on top of the money we already paid for rent. This electric charge was beyond ridiculous. This would be the equivalent of a nearly $550 bill for electricity for a month! Wow! Is all I can say. There must be a problem with something there for that kind of bill. I think it is their AC system as I noticed the filter that can be seen in the ceiling of the one hallway. It was filthy and long overdue for being changed. Perhaps this is why the AC system ran nonstop in 75-80 degree weather. We won't be returning mostly due to the cost of the house and not how it accommodated us. We did enjoy our stay there, but the final electric bill put a real damper on our stay.

Great place, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was big enough for my entire family! The pool was great and the kids swam in it the whole time we were there. Location was 30 mins or less from everywhere we wanted to be!! We would definitely stay there again!

Nice house and good neiberhood

The house is spacious and the backyard is very nice with the pool and the canal. I f you plan to go to the beaches around the area, the traffic is quite heavy, this is the only bad point of our stay.

A little bit of Paradise

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the atmosphere and being able to see the pool and canal every morning as we enjoyed our coffee. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. We were very comfortable here. We hope to return one day.
