Our family's vacation rental experience in Cape Coral, Florida fell far short of our expectations. The property, advertised as featuring a beautiful pool, hot tub, and waterfront location, presented several unexpected challenges upon our arrival. We were blindsided by a last-minute demand for essential paperwork, which caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Upon entering the home, we found discrepancies between the online photos and the actual property, including uncomfortable beds and smaller-than-advertised rooms with views.
Further inspection revealed unsatisfactory cleanliness, with dirty bathrooms and a commercialized kitchen, marked with stickers on nearly every item. The pool's freezing temperature and non-operational hot tub, compounded by malfunctioning TVs and Wi-Fi, added to our disappointment. Despite reaching out to the homeowner and property maintenance company, the promised solutions were delayed and ultimately ineffective, leaving us without essential amenities for the majority of our week-long vacation.
Overall, the multitude of issues significantly marred our vacation experience, and we hope that our feedback prompts necessary improvements for future guests. Also was promised a partial refund that was never received
