Our stay & experience was less than satisfactory from February 17-26, 2023. I did research prior to selecting. I had many ?s. My ?s went unanswered until it seemed I made a deposit. By then, I was committed. I was asked to provide proof of my inquiries and texts and phone logs. High season, high price. Upon arrival late at night, superficially it looked lovely. Things were neat & orderly. Furniture & accents were nice & tastefully decorated. Master bedroom linens were stained, however. They didnât smell washed nor did the towels. A few outlets didnât work, patches on walls. Next morning in daylight we were able to see that almost all doors in house had grime & dirt throughout. I have photos that I shared with our contact and he seemed pretty taken back as well. It was disgusting. After contacting mgmt company & complaining, while waiting for resolution, I cleaned what I could. The pool was nice except for low in water with loud gurgling for a few days until it was addressed. The cage/lanai was pleasant but also needed to be cleaned. Day three my teenage daughter is @ pool early in the morning, 6 workmen arrive to fix the pilings at the boat/dock without the knowledge of mgmt. or owner. We had to chg our plans for the day. The water view and pool itself were the highlights of this house. Home is lovely in a great location that is not being maintained properly. Vacasa will not be the property mgmt company of my next rental. No accountability following up.
