Awesome stay, well appointed rooms. Lots of space, quiet in the streets and no noise transfer from adjacent suites. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our stay include a complementary breakfast. One thing that stood out over and above was just how clean the room was. Every single corner and surface was spotless. Very close to lots of activities, never had a concern about safety and we walked around often day and night (M32, F27). Great stay, great value.

Don't look any further for the perfect stay

This is the only hotel I will stay at in Cape Town from now on. Michel is incredible, as are Chris and Ben. The hotel is located in a fantastic and fun area, the rooms are great, and the breakfast is wonderful. I loved everything about it!

The staff and manager were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We felt very welcome and it was a pleasure to stay there. We would recommend the area as it is away from the commercialisation of the waterfront and you were interacting with the real people of Capetown. A great experience.

After an intense work week, a friend and I had 4 days in Cape Town before returning to Canada. Rouge on Rose was a perfect place to explore Cape Town and its environs. The hotel is in Bo K-aap which is a really interesting neighbourhood and very central. The vibe was definitely chilled. The rooms are large and comfortable. Lots of little things done well - lots of international plugs, heat/ac pumps. Staff were fantastic - they went out of their way to be helpful and also had lots of great tips. I will definitely book again if I heard down to Cape Town. Highly recommended.

My experience at Rouge on Rose lived up to the reviews I had read before I booked it. The staff was very helpful, Jean, Michel and Chris were all great! Breakfast was excellent. My room was clean, and comfortable, and the one minor issue I had was solved quickly. You may want to avoid walking by yourself at night in Bo-Kapp.
