There were a few discrepancies during our stay that future guests should be aware of.The listing states there are four king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, and a bunk room. However, the room labeled as the “queen bedroom” actually has a full-size bed, which made a difference for our group’s sleeping arrangements. Also, one of the king bedrooms is on the ground level with its own entrance from outside the main house, accessed through a sliding glass door. Because of this setup, the door cannot be locked from outside when you leave, which may be a concern for some groups. Unfortunately, this room had a strong moldy smell and wasn’t usable for our entire stay. The property manager ran an ozone machine midway through the trip, which helped temporarily, but the room still couldn’t be used during that time due to the treatment, and the smell returned the next day.I understand that mold and mildew can be a challenge on the island, but it was pretty disappointing to realize we didn’t have enough beds for all our guests and that some people had to sleep on the couch. That said, the house itself was clean, well stocked, and we did enjoy our stay overall. If you’re booking this property expecting four usable king bedrooms, it’s worth noting that one of them may not be available depending on conditions.
