Nice, quiet place to stay

The property was nice. We had no issues at all. The property manager was very accommodating and communicated with us promptly. Definitely a great place to stay if you like the feeling of being at a clubhouse. The cabin itself was nice. It could use a few updates. The front porch and back deck was a little rough looking, but the inside was nice and clean. The one bedroom is huge. You could fit a few full size air-mattresses on there along with the bed, and the bathroom attached is also huge. We would definitely recommend staying there.

Perfect for our fishing trip

We were in town to fish Lake Kincaid and the property was a perfect place for us to stay. The driveway was large enough for us to park our vehicles and boats which was really nice. It is the perfect location being out of town just a bit. Thanks again!

Get away

Great getaway for friends to hang out and lots of trails around to walk and plenty of national forest to explore in area. There isn’t a-lot of places to eat close by but with full kitchen and grill out back by fire pit you don’t have to go out to eat all the time.

Beautiful⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pictures doesn’t do justice on how beautiful the backyard is. The fire pit, the string lights along the wooded area, the iron Sasquatch was perfectly placed in the way back along with a grill and chairs. The back deck was nothing but perfect with a patio set and ceiling fan hung in a shaded area. Everything was perfectly placed in the house with just enough decorations to not make it overly decorated with clutter. We was excited there was stuff to make s’mores when most houses you have to bring that. The scenery to get here or into town was hills, curves and hollers with lots of stuff to see along the way. The drive into town was a short distance. There was a little and I mean little downfall.. The main bedroom wasn’t staying as warm as the rest of the house. We didn’t freeze but it was chillier than the rest of the rooms. We was there when it was 50 degrees now if it had been 30 then it would of been a issue probably., Don’t miss out on this property because it was everything and more. Beautiful! And we even got the key code WAAAYYYY earlier than check in time when most rental properties on VRBO give you it 1 hour before check in. We wasn’t planning on arriving till 6:00 so time wasn’t a factor on this part but it was still nice of her to do that since other people was arriving at different times. Will book again! Thank you Ashley! ❀

Great Location

The property was great and beautifully updated. It was very clean and had such a nice welcoming feel to it. The location was perfect for the wine trail!! All wineries were a short distance and easy drive. We'd definitely stay again!!

Good jumping off point for Carbondale, hiking and wineries.

The A/C units were loud and the fridge wasn't very cold, but otherwise we thought the facilities were clean and comfortable.

Will Stay Here Again

My initial impression of this property was very poor. Just so you know there is no wifi whatsoever in the home. If you book through VRBO the tab for Wifi and it says that the details haven't been added yet, just know that means no wifi at all. We stayed at the property during a heat wave. It was 95 outside and when we arrived at the home the thermostat stated it was 87 degrees in the home. I got in touch with Ashley who assured me it would cool down and it did, but it literally took nine hours for the home to be tolerable. I have suggested that they turn the AC on when expecting a guest so hopefully she will take that advice and you won't have the same experience. We then found the satellite wasn't working (kinda crucial since again no wifi). This was no fault of the owners and they attempted to fix it with the satellite company and when they could not come during our stay we were refunded $25 per day. Once we got past all these initial hiccups things were smooth sailing. The master bedroom has a bathtub that is to die for and the location is great for a little seclusion. Kitchen was well equipped and the sanctuary they have built outside in their backyard is heavenly. We are hoping to return in the fall when it's a little cooler to enjoy the changing leaves of Shawnee National Forest. As a side note you're just minutes from Kincaid Lake and Spillway which was fantastic. We returned every day and my kids voted it as being better than Ferne Clyffe which has been our go to spot for a few years.

Amazing!

Our weekend at this property was unforgettable! The cabin was super clean and equipped with everything you need for a quiet family getaway! Our host Ashley was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our visit. Highly recommended!
