Ocean Palm beach resort is an older resort but with close proximity to the beach, the village & walkable to shops & restaurants. The room we stayed is a 2 bedroom luxury suite. It has kitchen, cozy dining area, living room & 1 bathroom. The electric stove is functional enough to cook a descent meal (but no condiments or paper towel included). The bedroom have a nice view of the ocean, w/c is just across the street. The pool is clean but the sauna looks like need a little cleaning up. All in all it was a good 2 night stay. The hotel parking is limited but theres ample street paring & safe. Thanks to the manager in honoring my Expedia reservation, will definitely stay again.

Wonderful location in Carlsbad - within walking distance to all the places we wanted to go to shop, eat & hear live music, and a beautiful beach was just down the stairs. Nice pool & hot tub, torches, tiki lamps & gas fires at night make the place magical. Full kitchen, comfy room.

Great place to stay! Location was fantastic. Rooms were clean, big and very comfortable. Only knock is the lack of parking. 8 spaces is nowhere near enough. I got lucky and found street parking in front of the hotel.

my granddaughter arrived at 8:30 Friday night and parking is a bit of a challenge. The gentleman at the front desk took a look at the two of us and said “you can have my parking space” It was right in front of the building. I never moved my car the rest of the week and did not miss it at all. everything i needed was within walking distance. the staff is so helpful and politeTo say that my granddaughter and I had a fabulous time would be in an understatement. stay here you won’t regret it. Plus, you’ll probably book for next year too. They go fast.

This is our second summer staying at the Ocean Palms and we love it! Proximity to the beach can’t be beat. We love the hot tub and pool too. We also appreciate the ability to borrow towels and boogie boards because it makes our beach trips so much easier!
