Superbe Ranch Home avec vue sur l'océan

L'Acorn est situĂ© Ă  2 miles au sud de Carmel en face de la route 1 du parc d'État de Point Lobos - l'une des zones les plus magnifiques et pittoresques de la cĂŽte ouest. Cette propriĂ©tĂ© est situĂ©e sur environ 5 hectares au sommet d'une colline surplombant Carmel Bay, Pebble Beach et Point Lobos. EntourĂ© d'espaces verts et de parc, l'Acorn est un Ă©tablissement trĂšs privĂ© mais Ă  seulement 5 minutes en voiture d'un nouveau Safeway, des boutiques et des restaurants et restaurants de Carmel-by-the-Sea. Golf, plongĂ©e sous-marine, randonnĂ©e, plages - tout Ă  proximitĂ©. Big Sur est une route panoramique Ă  seulement 40 minutes au sud sur l'autoroute One. This trip was well beyond our highest expectations. The home is gorgeous and very comfortable! Fantastic views from almost every room. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking and baking. The location is spectacular, being within a quick walk to Point Lobos State Park and beach. The happy surprise was that the horse pasture butts right up to the deck of the house so we had friendly visits from two beautiful horses, close enough to pat and scratch them!

Amazing week!

Eights friend gathered at an amazing home with an amazing view of the ocean. Horses, cows, turkeys and herons roamed the hill below us. The home was roomy, comfortable and a great place to gather.

Beautiful spring getaway

We spent 5 days at the Acorn Ranch with extended family exploring point Lobos and the Big Sur area. The property is gorgeous, spacious, well stocked, and has amazing views from multiple rooms. We saw a lot of wildlife on the property as we relaxed at the home. It is the perfect base to explore the area. Highly recommended!

Perfect for our family—A Family Tradition

We just completed our third stay at the Acorn. My wife and I, our son and his wife and our 2 grandchildren. The Acorn fits us to a T. Lots of room inside and out, a gorgeous view, great fireplaces. We play wiffle ball and soccer with the young kids out back, enjoy the spectacular Point Lobos Park across the street and visit the Aquarium. Very grateful to stay at this wonderful home.

What a beautiful property

Our family gathered at this house to celebrate a "big" birthday. The house is huge and in a peaceful and beautiful location. It was convenient to go from there to Monterey and Point Lobos and the 17 mile drive and Big Sur. Our grandkids were excited to see the horses and cows and wild turkey in the back of the house. It was so pleasant to end our day on the patio in back and watch the beautiful sunset.

Great ranch house for a large group of friends

Unique old ranch, very well equipped, with horse, cows and turkeys walking around for a peaceful feeling and lots of fire places for group nights. Being across from Point Lobos Park a huge plus. Our group of 8 loved it.

Good times in Carmel

We were very happy with the house. It is a very unusual house with lots of interesting and unique features. All of the amenities were high end. The horses, cattle, and turkeys roaming the pasture were enjoyable.

All that we had hoped for.

I take an annual golf trip with 7 other men, We look for a place where we can relax, chat and eat together in a low key environment. This home really filled the bill! It easily accommodated 8 of us. The large well stocked kitchen with a table for 8 in front of a large fireplace was the perfect area for breakfast and dinner. After dinner we convened in the living room, also in front of a roaring fire. It was a bit chilly during our stay so we didn't get to spend as much time outside enjoying the grounds as we would have liked. Expansive decks with an amazing view of the California coast from Point Lobos to Santa Cruz would make for the ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine and share time with friends or family. During our stay the owners of the property were very helpful. The home is well appointed. Our group left looking for reasons to return.

We had a wonderful stay at The Acorn! It was SO hard to leave! What a heavenly spot to enjoy in between fun outings. 3 Generation Family Birthday Celebration

We celebrated our daughter and sons 35th and 32nd birthdays with their spouses, our grandsons (4&1 years) and 2 golden labs. The house was spacious, furnished with everything we needed, had the most spectacular view, close to Pt Lobos, beach and Carmel, and provided our family with the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing vacation! We loved watching the horses in the pasture as well as the coyote, bobcat, turkeys, heron, bunnies. It was truly magical for our grandsons. Hope to come again! Thank you very much!

Mixture of wonderful and kindness.

We happened to be at The Acorn during an atmospheric river event and gale-force winds. I cannot say enough about the support and understanding we got from all the Whislers. Even though the weather was challenging, the house was solid and warm and comfortable, especially with the two fireplaces. The view was as spectacular during the storm as it is on beautiful sunny days. It is a VERY special place and we WILL be back.

Lovely Stay

This is a lovely interesting home that was perfect for a multi generational family gathering. There were so many amenities, from a well supplied kitchen to fireplaces. The location is every bit as good as the pictures.

What a wonderful home

This was our second stay at the Acorn. It is truly perfect for our family. So comfortable. We had four adults and two small children. Both the house and yard were exactly what we needed. We are from the East Coast, while our son and his family live in San Francisco. The Acornhas already become part of our family tradition. We are hoping to return many times in the future. Point Lobos state park, right across the road on the ocean, is spectacular. Sincere thanks to the Whisler family for making the Acorn available for guests!

Serenity at The Acorn

I cannot say enough about how lovely The Acorn was. The views! The history! The peace! We saw 4 types of hawks, osprey, deer, wild turkey. Simply breathtaking. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew this was exactly where we wanted to be - the house is stocked with plenty of linens and paper products and has a nicely set up gourmet kitchen. We will be back for sure!

Absolutely Gorgeous

We came for Rennsport with some friends and stayed in the Acorn house! We loved having fire in the kitchen with our coffee and breakfast and the fire in the den in the evening with our wine. The house and property have so much history and we loved getting to read and see all the stories throughout the house. Thanks so much for sharing that with us. We will definitely be back!
