While the weather wasn't the best - not surprising because it was a typical February weekend in NC - the house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty of room to hang out together inside on the comfy couches & chairs in the living room & around large dining table. Sun even peeked out for a bit in the mornings so we could enjoy coffee on the deck & watch the sun rise & the waves roll in. House was very clean & beds comfortable. Chalkboard full of restaurant recs & welcome basket with KB Surf Shack custom coozies (to keep), coffee supplies & paper goods were a nice touch. Owners are in the process of a kitchen renovation but staged the work so the kitchen would be fully operational during our stay (if they hadn't told us we would have never been the wiser). Property management was quick to respond to questions before and during our stay and even brought over a space heater to give the lower level room a little more warmth since it was so dreary outside. Would definitely stay here again - maybe next time weather will be let us enjoy the beach & pool too.
