Cute place! Perfect for a couple or small family. Love its right on the lake. We had a fire and watched a family of ducks swim by a couple times a day. Very peaceful.
My husband and I stayed here for a night to split up our drive from Metro Detroit to the U.P. The cabin was rustic and quaint, plus it was big-dog friendly, so perfect for our needs. We didnât get to enjoy much of the property but the water looked nice- shallow and sandy bottom near the shore. Could be a great option for a group of friends or large family with older kids as you could rent multiple cabins.
Think of this place as staying in a camping cabin except with comfortable beds, a sink, stove and bathroom with a shower. Very rustic but comfortable camping!
Richie was an AMAZING host. He was great with giving recommendations on things to do and if we needed anything he was only a text away. The cabin is a perfect rustic getaway that provides all the basics. The beds and futon was very comfy and the fireplace was PERFECT. The cabin is so close to the lake and it was perfect. The water is so clear. Over all it was a great getaway with my husband. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
My mom and i had the amazing pleasure of staying in thus adorable cabin. It had everything we needed and was super close to the Mackinac island ferry. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to all
We had a great time and loved the view. Ritchie was a great host. He welcomed us upon arrival and was responsive when we had questions about how to work the TV. We will be back and will stay here again. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing time.
We will be back! Clean cozy cabin. Awesome, friendly, prompt owner who texted with me ahead of time and greeted us at the door. Amazing moonrise, night sky, sunrise, and the stillest lake water I have ever seen. My 2 year old could wade out into the lake to the end of the dock with my husbandâs hand and loved it! Super close to Mackinac Island ferry but definitely in a whole other world! PS - there are more electric outlets in the cabin than the description alludes to - we had no problem plugging in devices for charging and my little guyâs sound machine and night light. I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to the area. Would love to go back and stay for a few days or a week just to relax or as a launching point for area tourist sites.
View is beautiful but doesnât justify the price. Tiny place put together with duct tape and bubble gum. Everything is âeconomyâ - toilet paper, towels (two), one dish towel, etc. Definitely not worth the money we were charged.
Rustic !! Tongue and groove pine just like my grandparents cabin !!
Lakefront with small dock. Shallow water. Great place for a fire in the evening ! Very comfortable for 5 older females on a road trip ! Ferry to Mackinac Island 25 minutes. Pictured Rocks 2 hours !
The location was 10 minutes from Mackinaw. The local restaurant had an amazing breakfast and the local bar was in walking distance. Had a perfect weekend!
We stayed for a couple of nights with our dogs and it was a perfect place for what we needed. It was right next to Lake Paradise- peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. Cabin # 1 was rustic and quaint. It has a fridge, microwave, oven, and fireplace. The property manager was responsive and nice. I would recommend this property to my family and friends.
This place is a great base camp for all your adventures in the area. Beautiful sunrises over the lake to start the day. Then a great place to relax after a long day with fire by the lake. The owner Richie is always there to greet the quests.
