Our family's stay at this VRBO property was wonderful! The apartment was very clean and cozy, plenty of amenities were provided, and the beach-front location could not be beat! We were in town for a family wedding and it was the perfect place to convene after each day and having the beach right there was simply an added bonus. Would definitely recommend staying at this property to anyone who is inquiring! Management was very helpful and communicative too ) 5 stars all around!

A Truly Relaxing Getaway — Already Looking Forward to Next Summer!

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home—which made it so easy to truly relax and unwind. The entire property is immaculate, clearly well-maintained, and cared for with intention. Early check-in was a thoughtful touch and gave us even more time to enjoy our first day.The beach is just a short walk away, making sunrise strolls and sunset views part of our daily routine. Everything about the home helped make our stay feel effortless and serene.We’ve already decided this will be our go-to summer retreat, and we can’t wait to come back again next year! Already booked!

Perfect beach getaway

This place was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, well-maintained unit and property, and steps from the beach. Property was exactly as listed and included everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. We also appreciated the proximity to shops and restaurants just a short walk away.

We have been coming to Carpinteria for about 15 years and this has been our favorite place so far. You can’t beat this unit location to the water, beautiful views of the ocean great interior design and close to restaurants and shopping. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a little getaway.

Awesome beachfront condo

Almost everything about this condo was fantastic. The location is prime, and the condo was spotless. Vrbo didn’t send us our checkin instructions, but the property manager was really responsive to all of the concerns we had. They got us our checkin info within 15 min of us letting them know we couldn’t get in, they had a solution when we were locked out of the beach gear locker, and when we discovered that there were only two bowls in a condo that accommodates five guests. Five stars for the property manager. A couple of things that I would have like to have known before renting: The property listing says there is a hot tub. There is no hot tub. A fireplace is featured in some of the pics, it can’t be used. There weren’t any linens that fit the foam mattresses our kids slept on. We ended up finding stuff for the bigger beds and just using that and some blankets we were traveling with. Another thing that could be improved includes a better stocked kitchen. All of the Teflon pans were peeling and need to be replaced, & there was not a full array of kitchen utensils (no citrus squeezer & knife sharpener are the two main ones that come to mind), and there was nothing in the way of basics like foil, etc. not a huge deal, but for the price I expected the kitchen to be better stocked/in better shape. Overall our experience was great, the property manager was super helpful, the place was nicely decorated, clean, and has a prime location. We would for sure rent again.

Great Carp Getaway!

We had such a great trip and Neptune's retreat is right on the beach! Also close to town. It's modern, clean, spacious and perfect for our family of 5. Loved it and would definitely stay again. Property manager is responsive and helpful!

Carpinteria gem!

Neptune’s Retreat on the Beach is a gem in Carpinteria. The location, residence and overall property are just as described on VRBO. The property owners have done a great job in thinking of everything needed for a relaxing vacation. Looking forward to returning to NR and Carp in the near future.

Chalkwalk Fun in Carpinteria

Enjoyed the chalkwalk festival, Farmers market, restaurants nearby on Linden Avenue & Carpinteria Avenue. Also enjoyed sitting on patio and listening to the waves. Took many walks along nearby trails.

Excellent location and pleasantly decorated condo

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The upstairs unit is back from the beach, but the beach can be viewed through the kitchen window. We arrived after dark and we’re not familiar with the checkmark door lock (had to press the “Yale” button to illuminate the digital keypad). We rented the condo during 4th of July, so the neighborhood was a little noisy (understandable), but it was quiet at 10 pm. The manager was very accommodating with our 11 am checkout request. We enjoyed using the supplied beach chairs and boogie boards. Overall, this was a pleasant stay, we only encountered minor defects (the manager worked with us), and we would consider renting it again.
