Unfortunately, this cottage was one issue after another, and our experience was extremely disappointing.While the washer and dryer not working was inconvenient, it was minor compared to the major sewage problem. Raw sewage repeatedly backed up into the shower. We reported the issue immediately, and while someone was sent out, the response was completely inadequate. The individual simply removed the lid from the tank and drained sewage directly into the yard beside the cottage. This was not only disgusting, but it did not resolve the issue, which continued throughout our stay.This situation created a serious health hazard. My mother, who is undergoing cancer treatment and is immunocompromised, and my 93-year-old grandmother were staying in the cottage. Because of the sewage backup, they had no safe place to shower for the entire week.We were very disappointed with how this was handled. Although we did receive a small refund, it does not come close to compensating for renting an uninhabitable living space under these conditions. This cottage should not be rented again until these major issues are properly and permanently resolved.I would not recommend this property.
