We stayed here for a multigenerational family getaway with adults, teens, a toddler, and a baby. Some things to note:
Clean towels and bedding (pillows, pillowcases, duvets, sheets) are provided.
Two full bathrooms on the main floor — one is an ensuite off the kitchen bedroom.
The main kitchen fridge is industrial-sized. There’s no freezer, but we found a deep freezer in the garage on Day 3.
The street is busier than expected.
Huge backyard — great for kids to run around.
Upstairs, beside the den, are 8 bunk beds in an L-shape — perfect for teens.
One full bathroom upstairs with a soaker tub, plus two bedrooms.
One bedroom leads into a private apartment — more dated (but clean). To access it, guests either walk through that bedroom or use the exterior stairs to enter from outside.
The apartment has a sitting area with a bed, a separate bedroom, full bathroom, and full kitchen with fridge/freezer combo.
On Day 3, the garbage disposal broke. It was fixed the next afternoon (thanks to Will). The dishwasher didn’t work — dishes weren’t cleaned, so we hand-washed everything.
To access the beach, cross the main road and go down stairs. The firepit is there with plenty of chairs around it. Firewood not provided, but a neighbour nearby sells it.
