This property is in a great location but is not being maintained very well. They also have some very strange hours for the amenities. The gym closes around 5 pm. The pool closes around 8 but does not open until noon.
My room, which was supposed to be one of the best, was not very clean and was in need of some work. There were a lot of stains and just a general feel of dirtiness. The shower looked like what you would find in an old gym with stained an missing grout. The AC would never get the room below 23 degC. When my allergies were starting to act up, I looked at the filter. It was so incredibly nasty that I was mad that I was breathing the air that came through it. This thing was disgusting! I removed it an called the front desk for a replacement. The maintenance guy took the old filter but never brought a new one.
The mattress was older feeling. It was firm and springy (not in a good way). The pillows were just odd-some sort of hard foam-not traditional pillows. We were able to sleep comfortably but are not super picky about those types of things.
The included breakfast was good. There is no coffee in the rooms, so you have to go downstairs to get it.
The staff was incredibly friendly. The location is great. You can walk to a bunch of great food options. Taxi to the old city is super cheap.
All in all I would think there are better options for the money. I will likely not come back to this place. I paid for a nice hotel and got an old one.
