In general terms it was a great hotel. We liked: 1. Nice big room, all clean, well decorated, not much noise until 9 am or so. 2. Most of the food was really good. Unfortunatly we couldn't get a reservation for a restaurant. 3. Staff was always super kind and atentive. 4. The beach club was cool. They had activities every afternoon. There were some little things that can be improved like: 1. There were flies all around the buffet restaurant. Disgusting. 2. Sometimes the restrooms in the common areas were dirty. 3. I think in general the hotel needs some maintanance, there rusty things all over the place. 4. They need more signs. We couldn't find the gym, for example.

Staff is great! Food is good. Activities by the main pool amazing! Up keep of resort however has gone downhill since our last visit 5 years ago. Beach is dirty and not private. You cannot see the water from the hotel due to all the structures built on the beach and parked cars which was not there when we first visited under Melia brand. Rooms could be kept better. Black mold in shower and on drying ladder. Started smelling musty. Very dusty behind headboard like it has never been cleaned. Visited the spa, and that was run down as well. We came back because we had an amazing experience and were somewhat disappointed when we retured.

The food the variety of fruits. Lots of vegetables and real fruit juices. The area around the pool, definitely needs a better green RUG- its really bad and torn apart. Overall I would stay there again. Luis Ruiz, Editberto, all the dinning and breakfast crew' extremely attentive.

Yes the breakfast was fresh, the staff was great maybe a few of them were difficult. They need to notify people of the rules when booking and make sure everything is working properly. This hotel wasn't fair like big name hotels are. I just hope they get better over time.
