Loved the space in the little cabin, and being able to open multiple windows for fresh air. Nice and clean. But it needs upkeep. Torn window screens, tippy toilet. Does not have a twin bed in the front room, just a sofa or futon. That could be good or bad depending on your needs.
Nice location to the river and walking distance to restaurants in town. My room had a whirlpool, stove, refrigerator and sink for light cooking. Enjoyed my stay and would stay again if in the area.
Room was clean and semy cute but s.elled like a herd of cats had been urinating on everything. Layed in bed all night with door open so we could breath. Tv the size of a tablet, didn't really matter cause all you could see was snow on the screen. Advertised memory foam bed, 3 inch pad on an old wore out mattress, felt like air mattress going flat and our feet were way higher than our heads. Do not recommend unless your a sadist, will never stay here again.
Shower curtain was filthy. There were no hand towels or washcloths in the bathroom. The bath towels were clean and nice. I had to straighten up the sheets on the bed. They looked clean, however when I pulled them up to straighten them out, I noticed that the cover underneath them on the mattress pad was not clean.
First time staying here. I needed to request a different room a few hours after checking in and the young lady working the front desk really did a good job of understanding why and did assist me in moving. Really appreciate that.
The room was hardly cleaned when we arrived. People who where "living" in the room must have moved out so we could stay for one night. Paraphernalia was left if the room. Clogged toilet, trim falling off the windows.
We were marked as no shows after our flight was delayed. The check in instructions just say check in anytime after 3:00 so we werenât worried about it and weâve stayed here before and checked in pretty late with no problems. Because we were marked as no shows, we were denied access to our room. We were told we needed to cancel our stay and that we would get a refund for our second and third night and we then needed to book again on site to gain access to a room. After a-lot of frustration, we agreed and booked a room. The front desk employee then denied a refund when requested by expedia, which I later found out in an email that expedia sent me. To top it all off, our heat went out during our second night and wasnât fixed until the next afternoon. Itâs been almost a week. No refund, no apology. Just told it was my fault for not calling to tell them my flight was delayed. Will likely look to stop using expedia for trips. They didnât do a good job of taking care of us throughout all of this.
The weather was not exactly accommodating for winter of course which means you have to run the heater fairly constantly to keep the room warm. Never got cold but the heater is quite loud, kinda hard to rest well. Otherwise nice and quiet between the Interstate and the Columbia River. Dining, brewery and coffee shop nearby makes for easy dining decisions. Would certainly stay again in the future.
A dump. Room dusty and only marginally acceptable. At check in was told my reservation couldnât be found, and when it finally was found I was told I needed to pay an additional $100 for my stay or else they would cancel my reservation.
