The manager was super kind and helpful when we arrived. My son and I got in late and he upgraded our queen bed to a king out of the kindness of his heart, free of charge! I slept so well in that bed that I did not want to get out of it. The room was very clean. I highly recommend for anyone to stay here.
A 1960âs type motel. Shower and stool are the bathroom like an RV, no tub. Take a shower while setting on stool if you want. TV channels listed on paper are not what is available on screen. Otherwise comfortable for what it is and costs
Just a warning: In Cascade Locks, not Columbia Gorge Locks. Very kind staff. I had to spend a day in bed. They checked on me. Anything you need? Yes, ice and any food you have in the lobby. They brought me 2 huge pieces of pizza. God Bless! Weird mattress. Don't know if it a consistent throughout the motel. Plus, I'm heavy. More comfortable if 75# lighter. I was in room 15.
The owner/manager of Columbia Gorge Inn went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and feel at home. He even let use his washing machine and dryer to wash our dirty hiking clothes. Highly recommend!
Proprietor was great- super friendly, although bit of a language barrier, but very accommodating. Room was fine, looked clean, but bad smell- almost sewage smell.
Hard to get beyond that the toilet is located IN the shower. No divider, so separation, located directly beside one another. Itâs super weird. Room had a musty smell, area is semi-questionable. Didnât know if my things were safer in the room or my car. Property is super basic but located close to lots of trails.
Clean, accommodating and willing to ensure customer satisfaction. Ols school keys added ambiance and some nostalgia, to our stay. Did return for another stay for two reasons, location and price. Whiskey Flats is a restaurant/bar with energy, great food and libations to enjoy for all
